Frequently asked questions
Keychron Q5 Max sits at #1 in the A tier of our consolidated board, ranked across independent research runs over 706 cited reviews, videos and discussions. RTINGS' best-tested mechanical, combining an aluminum case, hot-swap PCB and QMK/VIA open firmware. Nothing else combines repairability, firmware longevity and build quality this completely.
Wobkey Rainy 75 ranks #2 (A tier). Still a top enthusiast-community recommendation for sound and build per prior specialist coverage, ranked here slightly below the boards with current retrievable expert backing.
Our research places Weikav Nut65, Lofree Flow 2, Keychron K2 Ultra 8K, Keychron C3 Pro, NuPhy Halo75 V2, Logitech G715, Asus ROG Azoth, Logitech G915 X Lightspeed, Razer BlackWidow V4 Pro, Glorious GMMK 3 in the bottom tiers (D/F). Weikav Nut65: Consistently positive coverage across the dedicated enthusiast outlets for build, feel, and sound, but from smaller outlets rather than the major testing labs, so it sits at the bottom of the picks.
