Epomaker RT100 Pro
The sound and retro looks that pull buyers in are real, but KitGuru's verdict lands on a gimmicky screen and mediocre software, which are exactly the things you cannot fix after buying. Buy the Keychron V5 Max.

Bring some retro vibes to your setup with the EPOMAKER RT100 Pro, a stylish full-size keyboard that looks great, feels great, and delivers that satisfying creamy thock with every keystroke.View post P
The biggest strength of this keyboard to me is just its vibe. There are a lot of keyboards now that sound good. There are a lot of keyboards that feel good. So, at a certain point, design starts to matter a lot more and this board actually has a personality. The retro colorway, the rounded shape, the side-mounted knob, even the layout of the info on the screen is unique compared to other screens I've seen on keyboards these days. What it all adds up to is this kind of playful desktop aesthetic. To me, it's more like a productivity keyboard and desktop piece that happens to perform well in gaming as well.Watch F Facebook aphnetworks

It types better than it costs. Gasket mount, five-layer dampening, Creamy Jade switches — this board feels like it should cost more.Read M Mila Marie Mila Marie · 4.8K subscribers · Sept 2026
Overall, the RT100 Pro is a strong candidate for anyone who wants a personality of an iconic retro keyboard with the practicality of a full-size office layout. It feels smooth without requiring modifications, it works wired or wirelessly, and it offers enough customization to grow with you if you decide to change any of it later on. The software itself is very straightforward to use. It has sections for binding keys and setting layers and macros. The display settings allows you to upload an image or GIF. And you can edit individual frames of a GIF as well.Watch T ThePhonograph.net Article · Jul 2026

The Epomaker RT100 Pro and TH108 Pro are not terrible keyboards. They offer some of the creamiest and most silent typing experiences available at this price, and the full-size layout with a number pad will appeal to many users. But a few too many decisions make them feel cheap, and the wireless latency and mediocre software hold them back. If you value typing feel above all else and want a number pad, these keyboards are worth a look. Just go in with realistic expectations about the build quality and the software. For the same money, there are more polished options out there, but these two still have a place for the right buyer.Read P
KitGuru wanted to love the Epomaker RT100 Pro keyboard but ran into serious issues with the software, however kudos to Epomaker for listening to their feedback and making some improvements. The physical body of the keyboard resembles a keyboard of yore but hides modern pre-lubed switches and plate-mounted stabilizers. The RT100 Pro also comes with a detachable screen and it’s look and the software which lets you customize the display are where the problems are found.Read K
The Epomaker RT100 Pro is a masterclass in masking plastic hardware with clever acoustic tricks, but it frustrated me the more I looked past the surface. To its credit, the keyboard sounds genuinely plesant out of the box. By stuffing the plastic shell with PE foam and thick silicone, and pairing that with smooth, pre-lubed switches and stabilizers, Epomaker has achieved a deep, marbly “thock” that many people can spend hours trying to replicate.Read C
Read
