Frequently asked questions
Lian Li Lancool 207 sits at #1 in the S tier of our consolidated board, ranked across independent research runs over 849 cited reviews, videos and discussions. Tom's Hardware's tested case-with-a-screen pick, built on the Lancool line's proven steel-and-mesh formula. Feature-rich without fragile gimmicks.
Fractal Design Meshify 3 ranks #2 (A tier). The best overall case by the most rigorous tester in the space. It only cedes the top spot here because the 207 gets most of the way there for far less.
Our research places NZXT H3 Flow, Fractal Design Terra, NZXT H9 Flow (2025), Montech King 95 3D, Lian Li O11 Dynamic EVO, Corsair 4000D Airflow, Fractal Design Ridge, Corsair 3500X, Hyte Y70 Touch, Cooler Master NR200P Max, Hyte Y60, NZXT H510 in the bottom tiers (D/F). NZXT H3 Flow: Attractive but "feels like paper" per owners, and it is outclassed on sturdiness by the Montech TEN and Lian Li B4-mATX at the same size. A looks-first purchase in a category where looks age fastest.
