The only unusual step was the routing of the pump head and its tubing, as there is a specific setup that is best for the Air 5400 RS-R ARGB. This results in the tubing being hidden from view, which is pretty cool. One thing worth mentioning is the fact that the air diverter is naturally made of clear plastic, so make sure you don't scratch it with your tools or components during assembly.

The case works, and as much as I hate the CPU radiator mounting, I'd still highly recommend it if someone is not considering custom water loops as it is the ONLY case with a separate chamber for CPU radiator mounting/cooling (still available for purchase today anyway). Cool smarter, not harder.

Corsair have executed this triple chamber design extremely well, though the clear plastics do tend to scratch easily and gather dust. Perhaps this is something we will see Corsair build on at a later date.

Getting the opportunity to build in the new CORSAIR AIR 5400 was an awesome experience. The triple chamber layout completely changes the building process, giving the CPU, GPU, and PSU their own dedicated airflow paths for excellent cooling while making cable management incredibly clean.

Corsair's best PC case that I've seen in YEARS. This is the 5400 Air, which is a triple chamber PC case where you can put your AIO in a different place so it doesn't put any warm air anywhere near your other components.

Is there really a difference between the Corsair Air 5400 case and other aquarium-style cases without a separate chamber? I want to be sure I'm not paying for a case with such a small difference. A comparison test of the same components in different cases would be great.

The Corsair Air 5400 is really interesting. It only comes with 3 reverse blade fans, but supports rear connect motherboards as well as standard ones, three storage drives, large PSUs and has loads of cool features.

The Corsair Air 5400 has a spacious layout, but there's a design flaw in the CPU chamber that deserves attention. If you mount the radiator upside down, air tends to get trapped in the cooler’s pipes, which can lead to circulation issues and reduced cooling efficiency over time. This could become a serious problem for long-term thermal performance.

However, there is a trade-off on the CORSAIR AIR 5400: users are limited in storage capacity ( SSD /HDD 2.5/2.5 inch). There is only 1 old standard storage device tray, supporting up to 2 2.5 inch hard drives and 1 3.5 inch hard drive at the same time. When installing a 3.5 inch hard drive, you have to find another location for the iCUE LINK hub.

I also have the 011D Mini v2 for about a few months and I sorta hate it (Its good because its small and gives me more desk space) but I hate it because of temps. Such small intake air flow. I just ordered 5400 case and waiting for it to come in.

My front panel that's in front of the AIO Radiator keeps randomly popping off. It's so annoying. Anyone else running into this?

Cool concept way over priced and over engineered. Those plastic air shrouds aren’t necessary but I like the idea.

Corsair Air 5400 is trash for high-end. Need a new case that actually cools RAM with a 5090 Astral installed.
