This Frame case has me very intrigued, I must say, I have the 4000D airflow and found many negative reviews on it to be BS. Also very cool to see you building with the Stealth Ice board - that's my board, but rarely see it since it isn't sold in the US (I special ordered mine from EU). LOVE this board, I've heard they're putting an X870E version out too.

Just got this case, it's quite nice especially considering the price. The only thing I wish it had was a dust filter for the top panel. Everything else is great and pretty straightforward to install. I'm probably going to add some sound dampening material to the back panel and base as it's a bit louder than I'd like but hardly deafening.

I'm looking at getting the 4000D Airflow, but I'm looking to put 3 fans in the front for intake, 2 on the top for Exhaust, and one at the back for Exhaust. Hoping the Temps would be a lot better that way, as my current cheapo case has dang near the same design with the mesh front, but has 2 CDROM drive slots on the top, which are unused.

send the 4000d back Mike. go 5000d. so much better. if it fits where you want it i guess. i was choosing out of both and gamers nexus sold me on the 5000d over 4000d. but i started to think same as you, if i got the 5000d id need to by 3 more fans to fill the side up or why bother lol. im a aircooler guy myself as my pc is always on.

4000D Airflow owner here and I have to say this case is stellar! I love it and the fact it's modular! Running 2 rads, a pump in the basement and have it sitting on display under the telly. The interior with all the hard lines and rads is tight but it doesn't look cluttered. It's the perfect size.

The 4000D Airflow is an absolutely great case, I just wish I would've gone for the 5000D for future water cooling. The 4000D "can" have a full liquid cooling loop in it, but then it'll be packed to the edge, 5000D has more room for Reservoirs and tubing routing.

Corsair Fanboy here, 4000D is the best bang for the buck case ever in my opinion! I have used many different cases and have never gotten as good of airflow and cooling as with the 4000D. Even duel chamber cases with 10 or more fans.

I bought this case and I like it quite a bit. I was using a case that was built more for aesthetics than performance, and I saw great improvement in terms of thermals. Between the daisy-chaining and the modular theme of the case it was far and away the easiest build I ever completed. That being said, I really did not like the Infinity Rail in the front panel.

The older frame4000D I bought had a severely warped top panel right out of the box, so I guess the first thing I need to do is replace it with a new, reinforced panel lol This product has its pros and cons, and is far from perfect, but it has greatly increased my experience. I'm currently considering mounting the AIO cooler on the side.

Good review and agree with you, the original 4000D was one of there record selling cases, I can see why they are trying to incorporate the 4000+5000 series into one and price point makes sense. If guess a 240mm radiator at the top on the original was limiting for the higher end CPU market and people upgraded to the 5000 series.

The 4000D is essentially the exact same case minus the front glass and some included fans, which is actually why I think the 4000X is a better deal than the 4000D. While both look awesome, the 4000X just looks a little bit cooler and is definitely my preference.

i just got my corsair 4000d airflow and the plastic on the front panel is cheap and came cracked and half the clips that hold the grey piece on are broken. so be aware of the cheap quality of the plastics. other than that the case is amazing and airflow is on point.

I don't know why everyone just defaults to the 4000D. As with pretty much every other Corsair product it just feels distinctly average for an uncompetitive price. So many other better options out there if you just spend 5 minutes looking.

I have a smaller 4000d frame and I’m able to fit triple 360 and a 240 XR7 with relatively small amounts of custom work 🤷. Edit: I take that back. It was honestly no custom work. Just had to think outside the box.

I bought 4000d rbg with 3 fans in front pre installed. They are the worse. Going crazy 2000rpm very loud. B4 that I had an old corsair case with only 1 intake 1 exhaust and it was not loud and temp was good.
