Initial impressions: the Corsair feels a little more “premium.” It might just be because I’m so used to the North, but the newer features in the Frame are really nice. The extra space will be useful for my (first) custom water loop, and it looks like I’ll be able to fit two XR5 420mm radiators (front and top) as opposed to the North XL which was going to be a 420 and 280mm.Read thread K
Our review of the Corsair Frame 5000D showed it to be a good case that offered a number of interesting features, however it also left a few unanswered questions.Watch T
Are the front I/O USB ports on 7000D slower than the ones on this Frame 5000D? The 7000D webpage description says USB 3.0 for the type-A ports and USB 3.1 for the Type-C port. The 3.2 Gen 1 for type-A ports and 3.2 Gen 2 for type-C ports. Google says USB 3.0 and USB 3.2 Gen 1 are the exact same thing. USB 3 naming is so confusing. Please help.Watch G
Corsair Frame 5000D: Better than expectedWatch T
I got this case one week ago on a small discount, it's fantastic. Put 3 140mm Noctua's at the front and used 2 of the 4 included Corsair fans as exhausts at the back and top and it's fantastic. My PC became 1 degree cooler which is barely worth caring about, BUT it's quieter than ever.Watch G
With the launch of the brand new FRAME 5000D Chassis from Corsair, we create an all blacked out zero RGB stealth build which not only looks mean but has the performance to match.Watch G
We already put the Corsair FRAME 5000D through its paces and came away impressed, so what happens when Corsair swaps that airflow front panel for a slab of real wood? Say hello to the FRAME 5000D Wood RS, specifically the White and Oak finish.Read P
The Frame 5000D Wood RS offers improved radiator support compared to the tested Frame 5000 DRS. The original test specified 420 mm in the lid and 360 mm at the front and right side. The Wood model also offers space for 420 mm radiators at the front and on the side . The expansion slots remain classic. CER offers eight horizontal PCI slots.Watch T TikTok TikTok post

So today I'm talking to you about Corsair Frame 5000D ARS Wood chassis. And since I'm not one to measure airflow and the like, I decided with the good people over at ASUS ROG to actually build an entire PC around it. However, when one is actually making a PC building video, it can tend to skip out on many of the features of the chassis in question.Watch T
