Canon, I have to say they give you impossible choices: R6III has every feature, but hey, it overheats, and lower dynamic range, and the color science is somehow different. C50, now that's a cinema camera to dream about, better than the Lumix S1 II, oh, but wait, no IBIS. LOL, Sony gives you FX3, with everything you need to use it, I guess that's why the industry kinda left Canon for Sony, overall.Watch T
The Canon R6 Mark III is too Good!Watch W
I was, for the most part, blown away by the autofocusing capabilities of the R6 III. In both bright sunlight and dark, dimly lit indoor scenarios, I never failed to find focus. Though a word of caution when using slower apertures such as the ones found in the Canon RF 800mm f/11 IS STM, or when shooting at f/7.1 on the Canon RF 100-500mm F4.5-7.1L IS USM, I did notice autofocus slowing down a littRead A
If you are in the market for a powerful hybrid camera that excels in both stills and video, this hands-on test reveals what the R6 Mark III can truly do.Watch T
The R6 Mark III just checks every box I needed in a camera. 32.5 MP is the sweet spot for work I do. Better image quality, solid in low light situations, better AF which was already great on the Mark II but on the Mark III it sticks and doesn't hunt if you continuously focus. The video features are amazing as well. It's a camera I'll be rocking for years to come as I don't need anything else !Watch J
I enjoyed capturing photos and footage with it and think the results speak for themselves.Watch C
Arguably the biggest downsides are an unstacked sensor and a lack of vents or cooling options, so you’ll need to watch out for potential skewing and limited recording times in the more demanding video modes. I say potential as until I test a final sample, I can’t say for sure how it’ll look or how long it’ll record. Check back soon for my in-depth review and comparisons against Sony’s A7 V!Read J
Canon R6 Mark III vs R6 Mark II SENSOR Review: COMPROMISES Have Been Made…Watch I Instagram Article
For those with R6 II’s, I’d personally invest in more RF glass, vs taking a sideways step and grabbing the R6 III. Sure it does certain things better then the R6 II, but if you don’t have the glass yet, spend the money there. If you already have the glass and want to stick with the R6 line, by all means, order up the new one. Or step up to the r5 II. Either way you can’t go wrong.Read J
I'll tell you right now, it doesn't fall short and you'll see that in the footage. Here's a quick recap of what I shot. Now, of course, portraits aren't the hardest thing to focus on, but Modest Yahoo was in town, so I got his portraits, but better yet, I also got to shoot in lowlight situation in a concert, so you can see the autofocus working there.Watch J
Just over a week ago recently purchased a used R6 Mark III. It's my first mirrorless camera. I take mainly stills phots of aircraft and purchased an a control mount adapter to use EF L series lenses. My main corner about purchasing Mark II was the performance in the quality of my photos. Sadly it's rained when I've had the chance to use it., but I'm looking forward to using it.Watch C
Capturing it on the EOS R6 Mark III, it is a celebration of motion, emotion, and the creative drive that keeps us clicking the shutter, time after time.Watch H
The first thing I noticed after picking up the EOS R6 Mark III was just how comfortable it felt in the hand. Canon has always been good at ergonomics, and this camera continues that tradition. The grip is deep, secure, and incredibly comfortable, especially if you have larger hands. Even with the RF 45mm F1.2 attached, the setup felt balanced during longer shooting sessions.Read C

The Canon EOS R6 Mark III is the best-balanced R6 yet for photographers who need more resolution, fast action, and serious video. This Canon EOS R6 Mark III review focuses on the harder question: whether its 32.5MP files, pre-capture, CFexpress speed, or 7K/Open Gate recording will change the work you deliver. For most EOS R6 Mark II owners, the answer is still no.Read C
This camera is a still image and video powerhouse with pro-level performance for serious photo enthusiasts and professionals. Hybrid still and video content creators, and the dedicated video user, the R6 Mark III begins with its full frame, 32.5 million pixel CMOs imaging sensor, a 34% increase in pixel count in detail, but with no reductions in its still image shooting speed.Watch J
The Canon EOS R6 Mark III isn’t just an incremental upgrade — it’s a camera that made me question my own gear choices. This isn’t a first-impressions review based on a few hours with the camera. The new Canon R six Mark III is an absolute beast. What I love about this is it's classic Canon. You pick up one of these cameras and you instantly know how it's going to work. if you shot Canon for any amount of time. And for me, that's a long time. So, we spent the entire day at the Auto Station Moto Track, which is a future FIA track that's basically just a huge mud pit right now.Watch J
After watching this, I’m pretty sure I’ve made my decision to stick with Canon and go with the R6 Mark III for my next camera. I was seriously considering switching to Lumix and getting the S1 II, but I’ve invested so much into Canon lenses already that making that jump would be tough. And honestly… Canon’s photos are just so beautiful.Watch G

Calling this camera an upgrade almost undersells what Canon has done here. The R6 III represents one of the most significant generational jumps we’ve seen in the mid-range full-frame mirrorless class in years. This camera doesn’t just improve upon its predecessor — it fundamentally reshapes where the R6 series sits in Canon’s lineup.Read G

Went back and forth between the R6 Mark III and C50 for weeks before finally deciding on the R6 Mark III. My decision came down to exactly what you mentioned, IBIS and viewfinder. With PL lenses and even Canon's own VCM Primes not having IS, the IBIS in the R6 Mark III is worth the tradeoffs for myself to be able to shoot handheld.Watch G

With a higher resolution sensor, impressive video capabilities and updated autofocus, is this the all rounder to beat? PetaPixel’s Chris Niccolls and Jordan Drake have thoughts.Watch F
Gerald explains that you gain in-body image stabilization, stronger stills performance, and a more compact form while giving up a bit of the C50’s thermal resilience and dynamic range. He even boils it down to a rough trade: think of sacrificing about half a stop of range to get stabilization and a more flexible hybrid body.Read V

It's a super camera but I will wait to see the performance of the R7M2 before deciding which camera. If the R7M2 will be a huge leap forward from the R7 then I'll go for reach and the R7M2. If the difference will be subtle and insignificant then it'll be the R6M3 for sure for this stellar performance.Watch F
The R6 Mark III, however, is going to allow you to shoot 4K 120, which is going to take slow motion to the next level. So, although 120 frames per second seems like overkill, the fact is that it's extremely useful if you do real estate or product videography. The next major difference between the video capabilities of these two cameras is the log profiles that they come with.Watch P
If you are a solo shooter who values speed, portability and flexibility, the R6 III is probably the best choice.
