In terms of the R6 Mark II vs the R5, they are fairly similar, with the main obvious difference being the sensor size. Now this is very much a personal thing. If you find yourself cropping your shots a lot, then the extra megapixels on the R5 will help. There are some other smaller differences too. However both cameras are going to both offer a great experience, and if you don’t feel you really neRead B
Canon EOS R6 Mark II: Amazing for Hybrid Shooters!Watch J
As a serious hobbyist the R6 Mark II hits the sweet spot for price and functionality. I’ve been shooting landscapes and birds with it on lenses from 16mm to 600mm and it’s been great. AF is amazing in every respect. I have the battery grip and can shoot for 4 hours and still have 30% remaining in the two batteries. Rolling shutter is a problem with flying/panning birds, but otherwise is fine.Watch G

All these cameras are great. It seems like camera technology might be hitting a plateau, with each new model released offering a few new or improved features but only marginally better image quality. That makes older models like the R6 II a great value, especially on the used market. The camera I really want to see from Canon is an R7 II with much less rolling shutter than the original R7!Watch D
The Canon EOS R6 Mark II may not look like a big upgrade looking at the specs, but a huge number of small improvements add up to a much more capable camera than its predecessor. After weeks with a production model, Chris and Jordan present their final findings.Watch J
I got the R6 Mark II a couple weeks ago, and paired it with Sigma Art lenses and the EF 70-200 2.8 III and it is phenomenal! I did comparisons with the A7IV and the R6 Mark II despite have a lower MP count, is sharper when upscaled to 33 MP. The Canon also has lower noise, better dynamic range, and way less rolling shutter. For video, Clog3 isn't as good as Slog3, but it's not a huge deal.Watch L

The Canon R six Mark II is one of the best cameras in the world because it combines gorgeous image quality with ultra high-speed shooting at an absolutely unbeatable price. It is a shame; this effectively renders the R6 Mark II—when paired with the RF 200–800 lens—virtually unusable for my purposes. I do not know whether this same issue persists with the R6 Mark III. I purchased the Canon R6 Mark II. I own and love the Canon R6. Short and sweet the canon R6 Mark II was a total bust for me. As a wedding photographer, Canon color science for skin tone is really cutting lots of post processing work for me. The R6MII really is a fantastic camera, and the rf lenses are so much faster when it comes to af, while also improving on basically every other aspect like sharpness, bokeh, and chromatic aberrations.
