I'm figuring out which ND filter to buy (for my Lumix S5 and 24-105 F4) and I was wondering if you could give me some advice :) Is it better to buy variable ND filters or multiple ND filters? I heard that variable ones are much more versatile but are worse in quality than individual filters.

Why people critizes AF in Lumix S5 when cinematic way of focusing in videos IS MORE SLOWER during filmic, right? I think fast AF you need if you need make photos of fast cars or some action sport, right? So AF in this camera is standard, actually.

Unfortunately I had to return both units, because they had exactly the same audio issue: If you connect an external microphone via the jack audio input, there is a high frequency pulsating sound that doubles its frequency when you switch the frame rate from 25p to 50p. This annoying sound can only be heard very quietly, but it is disturbing in quiet passages during interviews, for example.

I have Two S5s and Two S5IIX. I really like the AF on the S5IIX plus other features you mentioned, however I like the Image quality more and Multiple Exposure photo mode on the original S5.

Getting that RAW signal out of the S5 II in the first place is the harder part: the standard S5 II needs the paid DMW-SFU2 upgrade key and a compatible external recorder like an Atomos Ninja V, since the camera can't output RAW over HDMI out of the box the way the S5 IIX can.
