The superseded model in its own lineup: the X1 ProMax is the current, more capable model at a modest step up, and the original's shorter battery and lesser processing make it the version that will feel old first. Buy the HoverAir X1 ProMax instead.

I've been using it for several weeks and I'm plenty impressed with the footage it takes. It has some disadvantages and certainly won't replace your "normal" drone but for me this will be a major improvement to how I make videos.Watch

Nonetheless, don’t write off the HoverAir X1 fully, as it might probably do some issues that the majority drones can’t: fly indoors, fly close to folks, file sound, and fly completely hands-free (no app, no controller wanted). This drone is much less of a drone and extra of a self-flying digicam (which is even on how the corporate markets it). In case you are a vlogger, who’s on the lookout for one thing sensible, on the go, and never too involved with excessive picture high quality, then this is likely to be for you.
