The Insta360 Antigravity A1 is a fully realized 360° drone offering immersive filming, 8K resolution, and a complete FPV experience right out of the box. The DJI Avata 360, while highly anticipated, remains unconfirmed with most details coming from leaks and rumors, making it difficult to draw definitive conclusions. Ultimately, your choice depends on priorities: choose the Antigravity A1 for verified 360° capture today, or keep an eye on the Avata 360 if you’re interested in DJI’s next-generation FPV 360° innovation.Read I iJustine iJustine · 7M subscribers · Dec 2025

Okay, so if I were to describe what the flight is like in one word for me it is immersive and extremely easy. Every angle is recorded in 8K resolution. You're flying it and you can reframe later during editing. Honestly, it's more than enough to fly at your own risk and miss more of your moments. Actually, I'm not sure if you're familiar with Insta360's X series. I believe for you to use the Antigravity A1. Not just this, but also by editing the footage. Now, bundled with this drone is this goggles.Watch S
I’ve been blown away by the footage I’ve been able to get out of the A1. It’s not because I’m an expert pilot, fantastic aerial cameraman, or a particularly good video editor; more that the 360-degree videos it records let you pick different angles post-flight, in any aspect ratio, without losing quality. With very effective stabilisation also in the mix, missing a shot has essentially proved impossible.Read I Insta360 Insta360 · 2M subscribers · Aug 2025

It is both the easiest drone to fly ever, and the easiest drone to capture the thing that you're trying to film. From one clip, you can get the forwards angle, the backwards angle, the straight down the sky, the parallel tracking shot. And I got to say, I love how wide the image can be. All the drones used to be this wide super dynamic frame and then we started to go to more of like a 28 mil and I really love the fact that we can get this crazy wide angle but then we can also zoom in and get a whole bunch of different focal lengths.Watch S

As far as the goggles go, they look really nice, feel really high quality, and they just have this external battery that kind of hangs around your neck and powers them. One thing I would love to see in future versions of the goggles is an integrated battery, so if the battery was like on the back of the strap, that would be really nice. And because this is a 360° drone, when you are wearing the goggles, you can actually look around in flight without changing the course of the drone. So, it's like truly a VR flying experience. In my opinion, it's easier to learn for beginners compared to a regular drone. Now, there are two ways to fly it. The first, let's talk about the simpler way. They call it FPV mode. In that mode, the motion controller acts kind of like a joystick. If you want to move forward, you press the button, moves forward. Now, if you want it to move left, you turn this your wrist to the left and it moves left. You want to move right, you turn your wrist to the right, moves right. I mean, that's basically it. Move up, move down, so on so forth. The second way to fly is called free motion mode.Watch T Trending Reviews Trending Reviews · 43.6K subscribers · Mar 2026

The camera technology is clearly high-end, the same as on Insta 360X5, meaning really advanced. Two cameras are placed on the top and on the bottom, and the software stitches the images together with AI and optical stitching. The drone disappears. With 360 drone, you stop thinking about camera direction and you start thinking about movement. that completely changes how you fly or when you need to track something or somebody. Another big advantage is safety. The drone has multiple sensors enabling omnidirectional protection and that directly affects confidence. You fly closer, you explore more, you hesitate less. But maybe the most impressive things is size and weight.Watch I Inspire With Drones Inspire With Drones · 3.6K subscribers · Aug 2026
The immersion is incredible. I mean, the goggles are so generally comfortable, and compared to the DJI Goggles 3 or the N1 goggles, I personally experience way less fatigue wearing the A1 goggles. And quite frankly, I prefer them over all the others. The entire system feels like it was designed around the experience of flying, not just capturing footage. The motion controls feel very natural, and the head tracking feels so immersive. I just love that you're baked into it right off the bat. The A1 opens up some new video capture possibilities for savvy content creators and cinematographers, and is a heck of a lot of fun to fly, but proves to be a little too rough around the edges to earn top honors. Its battery life and wind resistance are both a bit short of what Antigravity is advertising, and it takes some effort and skill to get great results from its 360-degree camera system. Still, there's nothing else like it on the market, and an impressive debut given the amount of engineering that goes into a camera drone.Read T The Tech Chap The Tech Chap · 1.6M subscribers · Aug 2025

Good news is that I now have my 2-day-old Antigravity A1 up and flying, joyfully, after several frustrating hours yesterday trying to get everything updated and synced. I’m experienced with DJI drones and have a techie background. For unknown reasons the A1 repeatedly failed to update firmware via the app connection, each time failing at 6 or 13 percent. The A1’s footage is generally sharper and cleaner out‑of‑the‑camera for simple social‑style clips, but its contrast‑heavy profile and lack of log or 10‑bit color data make aggressive grading risky. Independent tests note that A1 highlights clip more easily and noise appears faster in low‑light, while the Avata 360 maintains more usable latitude across exposures.Read 5 51 Drones 51 Drones · 373K subscribers · Dec 2025
