Roborock Saros 20
Superb hardware per Vacuum Wars and RTINGS, but Mashable is right that it is not automatically the best of 2026, and at full flagship pricing it is the weakest value among the picks.

I could see clear evidence of this upgrade in action, with the Saros 20 adjusting itself as it made its way about in my tests. From a robovac's point of view, my home is relatively straightforward, but I suspect upgrade will really come into its own if you have thick rugs or especially tall room thresholds.Read M
The 2026 version of my favorite robot vacuum from last year has arrived: As of March 23, the $1,5999.99 Roborock Saros 20 is available to buy in the U.S.Read

The Roborock Saros 20 Sonic is a powerhouse upgrade, setting a new benchmark for robotic cleaning. Its standout feature is a revolutionary D-shaped sonic mop that extends into corners and uses high-pressure vibration to scrub away stubborn stains. Boasting a massive 36,000 Pa suction and a tangle-free DuoDivide brush, it handles pet hair and carpets with ease. The innovative AdaptiLift chassis allows it to conquer high thresholds that stop other robots cold, while its ultra-slim profile glides under low furniture. While it faces minor software hurdles with multi-floor mapping, the fully automated 100°C self-cleaning dock ensures a nearly hands-off experience. Plus, the Complete package includes six months of consumables for added value.Read V
This gave it a way above average combined mopping score, which we were pleased to see. Another big pro was in the robot's vacuuming. The Saros 20 has a very high official suction rating of 36,000 pascals, and the side brush extends to reach into corners. It did a great job at its main function as a vacuum, clearing debris of many different sizes from the surface of both hard floor and carpet.Watch C
The Roborock Saros 20 is an excellent choice for homes with complex layouts, tall room transition strips, and pets. “I would recommend this robot vacuum for people who have pets who are potty trained and any floor type,” said Breitenstein. It’s a premium machine with a suggested retail price of $1,600 — roughly $200 more than our overall pick, the Roomba Combo 10 Max — but it justifies its price tag with cutting-edge mobility features that keep it from getting stuck under couches or between rooms.Read S
The Saros 20 uses the Adapt to Lift Chassis 3.0, which allows it to climb much higher thresholds than most robot vacuums.Watch T
While obstacle recognition and ability to free itself when stuck is more advanced than many, the Saros 20 isn’t perfect. Cat toys were frequently sucked up and their strings wrapped around the rollers. We had to block off a fireplace hearth with a no-go area on the map as it would try to climb it and become stuck. It even knocked off a mop pad during one cycle. Loose trim threads were ripped off a curtain and wound around its rollers so it stopped mid-clean.Read S
Both can handle everyday mopping very well, but if mopping is one of your highest priorities, Saros 20 feels slightly more aggressive and more focused on deep stain removal. This might be the most interesting section because both companies approach navigation from completely different directions.Watch B
Choose Roborock Saros 20 if you want the stronger all-round flagship with 36,000Pa suction, LiDAR + camera navigation, edge cleaning, and better fit for pets, carpets, clutter, and mixed floors. Choose Roborock Saros 10 if you want the lower-priced ultra-slim Saros path with 22,000Pa suction, VibraRise 4.0 sonic mopping, longer listed runtime, and less need for the highest-end sensing package.Read R
Admittedly, one of my favourite features is the built-in camera that I use to check on my dog while I'm at work. You can access it through the app, like you would with a remote control car, and I have to admit I have found myself 'driving' Rocky around my house just to see what she's doing throughout the day. It can even snap photos of her as it cleans and mark where she is on the 'home' map.Read B
If you are choosing between the Roborock Saros 20 and Roborock Saros 20 Sonic, the safest default pick is still the Roborock Saros 20 . It is the broader flagship choice for mixed flooring, pets, rugs, low furniture, and buyers who want the most complete balance of mopping, obstacle recognition, dock automation, and long-term usability.Read T
The best robot vacuums are the ones you barely have to think about, and the Roborock Saros 20 fits that description well. It’s why it’s one of our favorite robovac / mop hybrids , and thanks to Prime Day, you can get it on sale at Amazon and Roborock for $1,359.99 ($240 off), a new low price.Read B
This model specifically improves the smart features, power suction, and continues to offer great mopping. More adventurous users can even rely on Roborock's personal assistant with voice commands like, "Hey Rocky, clean the kitchen," or something similar.Read P
The Roborock Saros 20 sits at the high end, both in performance and price. There’s no getting around it. It’s honestly overkill for my house size and my lifestyle. I’ve got no kids, just a dog and a husband. My space doesn’t get very dirty often.Read M
The Roborock Saros 20 is an incredibly simple robot vacuum cleaner to use with an easy setup process and brilliantly designed app. Most of all, it does a great job at cleaning carpets and hard floors with object avoidance that rarely fails.Read E
The suspension system is devilishly clever and is made up of a cornucopia of cogs and gears, which endows the Saros 20 with several height and angle-of-attack settings, a system Roborock calls AdaptiLift Chassis 3.0.Read B
It brings plenty of updates and, according to CNET , offers the best cleaning coverage. That's because the robot cleaned over 88% of the target room. This could be a major selling point for people with larger homes.Read R r/Roborock u/Ok-Store · owner
bottom line, after just a few weeks of welcoming the Saros 20 into our home, I'm fairly confident I can say this has to be one of the greatest robot vacuums ever made, hands down.Read thread C

To be honest the only good thing about the Saros 20 is the base station. My eufy e28 does everything better. But the base station on the Saros 20 was spotless. The cleaning was amazing.Read thread B
