That's 12% off the 30-day average of $569.48, bringing one of the more capable self-emptying robot vacuums closer to the $500 mark for the first time. The Gen 2 model packs 25,000Pa suction, an extendable side brush and mop, and a dock that handles emptying, cleaning, and drying without any manual intervention.Read S
Now, this one is interesting because the price of this product sits in a pretty reasonable spot, but it also includes some very high-end features. It's got powerful 25,000 pas of suction power. It also has an extendable mop pad that is able to reach out and clean the edges and baseboards of your home. It also has a fully automated base station that washes your mop pads, dries them with hot air, and empties the dustbin automatically. And of course, it has a powerful application with tons of built-in features.Watch O
Buy the Dreame L40 Ultra AE ($700) if: You have pets, thick carpets, or messy kitchen floors. It has double the suction power (19,000Pa), washes mops with 75°C hot water, avoids small cables easily, and cleans corners better.Read S

Welcome to Vacuum Wars and to our review of the Dreame L40s Ultra series robot vacuums. The L40s series is Dreame's mid-tier robot vacuum lineup where they offer most of the specs and features of the higher-end models, but at more reasonable prices. After buying all three of the new L40s Ultra models ourselves, the L40s Ultra, the L40s Ultra AE, and the L40s Ultra CE, and putting them through a grueling series of tests over the past several weeks, I found that one of them was incredibly impressive, while the other two L40s models were just okay.Watch A

I'm very, very pleased with it. Now, it doesn't have a dirt detection sensor. That's why you don't see a dirt level on any of these cleanings. And every time I just had it do the clean genius. Uh, there m wash three times. So, I just had it do a clean genius every time. So, you may be getting maintenance reminders, accessory usage of when it's time to change filters, side brush, main brush. The sensors I've kind of let go.Watch I

Now, the good thing about the Gen 2 is they remove that feature. The mop pads stay attached all the time. There is no removing them and installing them. If you want that feature, you got to upgrade to a little bit more expensive robot. Um, I can't think of like an X50 or a MOA V50, but we're going to talk about these two right now. Now, they both have LAR navigation. They did make the Gen 2 a little bit thinner. It's about a quarter inch thinner.Watch F Facebook John Caster · owner
Powerful and precise with nice dual mopping function. Sale priced at about 170 off in the 400 range!View post D
Coverage is where this robot really separates itself. Dreamy's dual flex arm design allows the side brush and mop pads to extend outward, reaching deep into corners, along edges, and around curved furniture bases. The side reach vacuuming system ensures debris doesn't get pushed aside, while Mop Extend Robo Swing technology pushes the mop pads up to 1.57 in beyond the robot's body, achieving near wall-to-wall edge coverage that traditional flat mops simply miss. Mopping performance is handled by the Duo Scrub mopping system, which uses dual high-speed rotating pads that scrub under pressure instead of dragging a damp cloth across the floor. This approach is far more effective on dried spills, sticky residue, and everyday grime.Watch C

The CE was only able to pick up 73% of the sand, which by the way is actually still quite good, and the Ultra picked up 85%, which is a score that is as good as some of the flagships right now. I think the difference is both the amount of suction and the brush design. Now, he's got a lot of hair, so the other difference is suction. The more expensive L40S Ultra has 19,000 pascals of suction, and the Ultra CE has 13,000. And in our testing, we found that more suction doesn't always equate to better pickup.Watch S

For daily floor upkeep, it feels much more useful than I expected.Read thread J
With the included all rubber roller brush, it picked up an impressive 53 g or 98%. Now, here's where things got a bit interesting. Swapping over to the Tricut brush, I was actually surprised to see it only pulled in 50 g or 93%. That result was unexpected enough that I ran the test three separate times just to make sure. Moving over to the hard floor test, I used exactly 130 g of cat litter on my tile. With the all rubber roller brush, it pulled in 126 g for an impressive 97% pickup rate. Swapping to the Tricut brush, it edged that out slightly with 127 g or 98%.Watch D Dre doc Facebook post

With 11,000 Pascal suction and a Tricut anti-tangle brush, it's still very effective for most households. You might need to clean hair from the roller occasionally, but it's much easier than with older bristle brush designs. For medium homes or apartments without multiple shedding pets, it's more than enough power. Both models also share Dreamy's mop extend and side reach technology, which let the mop pads and side brush extend into corners and along baseboards. The L50 Ultra gets a slight edge here with its extendable lifting side brush that avoids rewetting already cleaned areas while leaving corners noticeably cleaner. One of the biggest perks of both vacuums is how little you need to maintain them.Watch V

Overall, I put the L40 as the flagship, uh the D30 is kind of the value version of the flagship. So, again, a lot of the same features, just not as much of the fancy AI stuff. So, what makes the L40 better? Uh smarter AI navigation and obstacle recognition. The extendable side brush improves corner cleaning, makes more automatic cleaning decisions in dirty areas, better at avoiding cords, shoes, toys, and pet items. Best choice if you want maximum automation. So, what makes the D30 better? Well, it's very similar in cleaning performance, same advertised 25,000 PA suction, excellent self-emptying and self-washing dock. Typically, it costs less while keeping most premium features, outstanding value.Watch A

The Dream L40 Ultra Gen 2 combines two powerful functions in one device, vacuuming and mopping, making it a solid choice for anyone looking to streamline their cleaning routine. The vacuum features a strong 25,000 Phah suction power, which is substantial in terms of picking up dirt, dust, and even pet hair. With five adjustable suction levels, you can customize the power depending on the type of floor you're cleaning, whether it's hard floors or carpets. This kind of flexibility is crucial, especially if you have a mix of floor types at home. It also boasts a self-cleing dock, which eliminates much of the hassle that comes with robot vacuums, particularly when it comes to maintenance.Watch P

One of the biggest highlights here is the powerful 25,000 Pascal suction system. That's a significant amount of cleaning power for a robot vacuum, making it well suited for hard floors, rugs, carpets, pet hair, dust, and everyday debris. The vacuum also offers five suction levels, allowing you to adjust cleaning intensity based on the room and the type of mess you're dealing with. Beyond raw suction, this model focuses heavily on reaching areas that many robot vacuums struggle to clean effectively. The extendable side brush helps sweep debris from corners and edges, while the extendable mop reaches closer to baseboards and underneath furniture.Watch B

And when it's all about price, the Dreamy L40, sometimes it's $1,000. That's not a buy for me. When this gets down to around 450, I've never I did see it below 450 one time, but when this is a $450 robot, I absolutely love it and it becomes a recommended buy. The MOA PT10 Pro when it's its full price is 600 bucks and typically we'll see this on sale for $500 and sometimes we see it for $450. This has too many features removed to make it cheaper. Now, this also reminds me I just did a video of a Costco robot, the Dreame GoVac 400. That's what this one reminds me of. So, if you maybe you can save a little money and get it at Costco. It's the same robot. This is just a really basic stripped-down version that they've removed removed a lot of nice features. But, that doesn't mean it's a bad robot. It just means the price should not be very high since they removed a lot of features.Watch J
