Friendly press reviews cannot offset the ownership record: a Reddit thread titled "Do not buy eufy c28" sums up buyer sentiment, and a long-term owner reports dirty-water tray clogging and random map-skipping problems. The Eufy Omni E25 is the Eufy roller-mop the experts actually endorse.

Have to say one month in and loving my C28. I got it on the discounted sales price and my Amazon Prime gave me an extra 5% off for some random reason so to me it was a bargain at £474. I couldn't decide between the E25 and the C28 but the heavy discount swung it for me. My floors are looking sooo clean. All hard floors ( wood, slate and technical porcelain tiles) , country house with a dog and a cat so it has it's work cut out. I accept it doesn't edge clean quite as well as the E25 but that's a minor. Plus there seem to be quite a lot of reliability issues with the E25.View post B

The Omni C28 setup is fairly compact, and everything feels solid. The ramp is easy to install on the base, and the full setup process takes less than five minutes. With the Omni C28 in place, the eufy app needs to be downloaded to establish a Wi-Fi connection. Once connected and updated to the latest firmware, the robot can be sent on a mapping run. It is quite quick at recognizing obstacles and different rooms — more on that later — and the app allows for saving multiple maps for those who have multiple levels in their homes.Read B

Overall, for the price, I still think you're getting a pretty great vacuum. It can do everything I want a robot vacuum and mop to do, but it really only excelled on hard floors and my low-pile rug more than it did my carpeted upper floor. Still, if you want a vacuum that can do it all—mop! vacuum! learn multiple floors!—the Eufy Omni C28 delivers for a good price.Read T
it's worth mentioning that the Omni C28 from UV, it was a top 20 pick in the Vacuums War in Best Robot Vacuums Ranking, and is built on the foundation of UV's popular X10 Pro Omni.Watch H
The Eufy Omni C28 is a very good cleaning robot if you can get it on sale for under $600, or closer to $500. It’s a terrific value in that range. Just be aware that it’s not quite as polished as the more expensive ones, but it’s also not overbearing in all the ways the premium ones can be.Read V
The C28 left the floor visibly cleaner in a single pass, while the X10 needed to return to base before the pad was clean again. The roller is also 272.5 mm long. That's the longest on its price segment. So, it covers way more surface with every single pass. It presses down with 10 N of force, and a built-in scraper continuously pushes dirty water into a separate wastewater tank, so it never recirculates back on your floor. So, I tested coffee and dried stains. After mopping, I wiped the floor and the roller with a white cloth. Both stayed clean.Watch I
That said, if you value strong cleaning performance and low-maintenance operation at a more competitive price than premium models, the C28 is worth considering. For busy homes looking to stay on top of everyday mess, it's a capable mid-range model that gets the job done where it counts.Read C

My latest test subject is the Eufy Omni C28 , which launched earlier this year as a more affordable option in the brand's lineup. After spending time with flagship models like the E25 and E28 , I was keen to see what corners, if any, had been cut to reach the lower price.Read D

The biggest standout feature may be Eufy’s HydroJet self-cleaning roller mop . This mop continuously cleans itself during mopping. The system uses fresh water throughout the cleaning cycle , along with a built-in scraper to remove debris from the mop as it runs.Read T
It is the eufy Omni C128, and it's the best value roller mop that you can get that has basically flagship features but at an affordable price. Starting with the Hydro Jet roller system, it's a brilliant system that's perfect for those liquid or wet pet messes because it applies constant downwards pressure, basically scrubbing the ground at 10 Newton meters. And it is also nine times per second cleaning, scraping, and putting into the dirty water, the waste water, all of that mess. The suction performance is also brilliant. It's 15,000 PA. So, that's enough to lift up pet hair, cat litter, and long hair. And it also has a dual spiro detangle four-step anti-tangle tech.Watch H
One of the main selling points of the Omni C28 is that most of the maintenance is handled automatically by the docking station. The all-in-one base station empties the dustbin, washes the mop roller, refills the clean water tank and collects dirty water.Read S
If you Eufy robots are your cup of tea, then the C28 Omni might just be the upgrade or side grade you've been looking for because it feels like a huge refinement of all of the core technology that's come before it, but packaged into a much more affordable device.Watch C
If you outsource your vacuuming and mopping chores because you hate doing them, nab the Eufy C28, which is just $50 above its all-time low price, and put the robot to work. It’s safe to say that it could save you plenty of money, hassle and effort.Read V

After spending significant time with it in a busy household environment, it’s clear the C28 is designed to bring premium-style roller mopping and strong pet-hair handling to a more affordable mid-range price point.Read D
But, the C28 is a meaningful upgrade. Right, this is the first time eufy has brought their Hydrojet self-cleaning roller mop to the C series lineup. That's a flagship-tier mopping system at a value-tier price. So, some tech specs I'm just going to run through so you know what we're talking about. First, the Hydrojet roller mop. We have the duo spiral detangling brush and 15,000 pascals of suction power within the carpet boost system, an all-in-one station, the iPath 2.0 lidar navigation.Watch T
Not everyone can drop a grand on a good robovac, so for the performance alone, the Eufy Omni C28 represents great value for money, and it’s particularly a steal if you can nab one for the introductory price.Read J
Wow. It did a good job mopping. Okay, it's on its second pass. I think it increases the brush speed when it's in the during the perime of the room. I'm not sure. For some reason, the side brushes just seem like they sped up. So, the first pass it didn't get everything, but it didn't, you know, it left quite a bit in the corner, but we're going to see if it gets it on the second pass. The mud's almost all gone. There's just a little bit left. Interesting. Even though the mud appears to be gone, I can still see it with this. That's very, very interesting.Watch Z
The combination of a higher-than-average stain test score and a very low water penalty gave the C28 an incredibly high combined mopping score, placing it in the top 10 mops of all time in our data set.Read M
And the C28 is the best value option for budget-conscious pet owners who still want real-time self-cleaning mopping, which is important. This isn't about which one has the biggest spec sheet, it's about which one fits your home and your budget. The feature that connects all three of these models is the HydroJet real-time self-cleaning roller mop technology. With traditional mopping, the mop gets dirtier as it cleans. Hydrojet rinses the roller with fresh water while it cleans. The roller presses down, scrubs the floor, scraper removes the dirty water, and that waste water goes into a separate tank. Then the robot continues with a freshly rinsed roller. It's really the best system.Watch V

The oil and food mess is removed in one pass. With 15,000 Pascal suction, it picks up food bits and crumbs easily from cracks and corners. After cooking, I just let it run once. When it's done, the all-in-one station empties the dust, washes and dries the mop, refills clean water, and takes care of the dirty water for me. The floor feels clean, not slippery, not sticky. If you cook at home like I do, I left the link here. Sometimes there are promos running, too.Watch D
What's really interesting to me about the UV C28 is that it has all these top end features, but it's not even the top end model and it doesn't have the top end model's price.Watch W
The C28 uses a 10.7-in roller mop, the longest in its price range, and it stays incredibly clean thanks to real-time self-washing up to nine times per second, the highest frequency in the industry. An internal scraper constantly squeezes dirty water off the roller into the waste tank. And with 10 Newtons of downward pressure, it's able to scrub away muddy paw prints and spilled water in a single pass without spreading grime around. The P50 Pro Ultra, on the other hand, uses a more traditional dual pad system.Watch V
It's a small and simple robot dock and I like how it looks. Taking a look at the robot, it has a lot of similarities with Eufy's E25 and E28, just stripped back a little more to make the robot more affordable. Up front, it features Eufy's iPath 2.0 navigation system using a lidar and sensors up front for smart navigation and obstacle avoidance. It features the same dual spiral brush rolls used in the higher-end E25 and E28 with a true tangle-free setup. When cleaning, the brush rolls press together so there's no gap in cleaning coverage, and when auto emptying, they split up and the robot spends time cleaning them to prevent hair wrap.Watch V
Our LVP floors look great with strong coverage and consistent cleaning. I would still like to see mop extension for better edge and corner performance. The robot also includes a removable onboard dirty water tank, which is easy to access and clean. After testing more than 135 robot vacuums, we found the C28's MSRP sits right around the category average, but it's already discounted a couple hundred dollars shortly after launch, placing it firmly in the mid-range category.Watch L
It's not completely hands-off, but compared with a more basic robot vacuum, there's a lot less routine maintenance.Watch T
In normal use, that worked well on footprints, paw marks, dried drink spots, and light cooking residue.Watch T
Reviews consistently mention that while it's not chasing extreme suction numbers like some ultra flagship models, it's still delivers very solid cleaning performance for everyday home use. Where this robot really stands out is the roller mop system with hydro jet technology. Instead of just dragging a damp pad like older robot mops, this one actively scrubs the floor with a continuously cleaned roller, which helps prevent dirty water being spread around. The system also applies pressure while mopping. So it behaves more like a real scrubbing action rather than just surface wiping. In real user feedback, this is the feature that gets the most praise because it actually feels like a proper upgrade over traditional robot mopping.Watch T
The fully automated docking station is another area where this robot truly stands out. After completing a cleaning session, it can automatically empty collected dust, wash its mop, dry the mop to reduce odors and bacteria buildup, and refill the clean water tank. This dramatically reduces the amount of maintenance required from the user and brings the experience closer to a truly autonomous cleaning system. Cleaning intelligence is also a major advantage. The robot is designed to transition between vacuuming and mopping tasks efficiently while maintaining strong cleaning performance across different floor types. Whether you have hardwood, tile, laminate, or carpets, the C28 adapts to deliver a more complete whole home cleaning experience.Watch T
Bumping suction power up to 15,000 pascals, the C28 effortlessly pulls deep set dirt, heavy kibble crumbs, and embedded dander out of high pile carpets and rug fibers. To solve the hassle of wrapped hair, it utilizes dual spiral detangling main brushes engineered to process long hair and pet fur up to 11.8 inches 30 cm without clogging or requiring manual scissors work. Hydrojet self-cleaning roller mop and auto lifting mopping technology receives a major structural evolution over traditional spinning pads. Instead of dragging dirty pads across your home, the 28 cm hydrojet roller mop spins at 270 revolutions per minute under 1 kg of downward pressure.Watch T

It does a solid job mopping and vacuuming, but it has a shorter battery life, leaving it at only 37 percent after completing the four-room main floor of my house. This is a bit of a bummer, since this affordable vacuum can do multi-floor mapping. While it can store enough maps to clean all three levels of my home, it doesn’t have the battery life to do so. But it does charge fairly quickly, and I was able to still clean all three floors of my house in a single day—I just had to let it recharge a little at the base first. It went back up to 57 percent battery life after just 20 minutes in its docking station.Read J
