Razer's Blade 18 has never been marketed as a humble or even sensible gaming laptop ; it's an extravagant powerhouse that claims to deliver "true desktop-level performance" in a chunky chassis. I should know, I've tested iterations of it throughout the past few years, where I've seen it shred through high-end benchmarks and leave almost nothing to the imagination.Read C
It’s not, but the Razer Blade 18 comes the closest to achieving this impossible feat. Although its sheer size makes it unwieldy and ill-suited for travel, you might still be able to squeeze the Blade 18 into your laptop bag for a short trip now and again.Read T
The Blade 18 is as premium as gaming laptops get, a powerhouse perfect for hardcore gamers – or creatives pros who like to game on the side.Read P
There’s very little I didn’t like about the Razer Blade 18.Read

The Razer Blade 18 sets the benchmark for high-end gaming laptops, excelling in more areas than it doesn’t. Its performance headlines the show, delivering the best in-game numbers we’ve seen from any gaming laptop. Its dual-mode display is another standout, letting gamers choose between a cinematic 4K picture or a lightning-fast 440 Hz refresh rate at FHD without any loss of clarity.Read M
Very capable processor with better thermals. We'll talk about that in detail a bit later. And we have your choice of Nvidia RTX 5070 Ti 5080 or 5090 GPUs. We have a chassis redesign this year. The the Blade 18 is new to you as a concept. So I'm not going to go every single thing, but what's different. So we have a chassis redesign here.Watch P
The Razer Blade 18 is a slim powerhouse gaming laptop that justifies its steep price with fiery performance and leading battery life in the sleekest 18-inch chassis. Even if the laptop’s unique dual-mode display is super-niche, it’s an impressive feature for eclectic gamers.Read J
Overall build quality feels great. There's hardly any flex even when going out of your way to push it. It's a solid tank during normal use. The hinges feel smooth and sturdy, and I didn't notice any problems if I push it back too far or rip it open too fast. I'd assume the hinge being metal on metal should be fine long-term.Watch T
The Blade 18 comes equipped with a 5-megapixel webcam. Its biggest strength may be in color accuracy. In our well-lit office, it caught the exact shade of red-orange in my shirt, and some tired bags under my eyes after a long weekend. It did, however, have some graininess.Read A
But to save you some time, because I do value your time, my overall thoughts are this is pretty awesome. It's one of the best 18-in laptops, gaming laptops out there and 18-in in general. Uh there are a few things I'd like to see them change in the future versions of this, but my overall takeaway is pretty freaking awesome. And I want to thank Razer for sending this over.Watch T
Despite the loss of mini-LED, I think the Razer Blade 18 (2025) is a beast that's one of the best gaming laptops we've reviewed so far this year in terms of performance. Read my Razer Blade 18 (2025) review to see why, replete with benchmark results from our testing lab.Read D
>> This is a large device with that 18-in screen grabbing the spotlight the moment you take it out of the box. But the interesting part here is that despite this huge form factor, the laptop doesn't feel as heavy as other 18-in gaming beasts in the market. Now, on paper, the laptop weighs around 3 kg. But when I first picked it up, I actually thought that it was around 2.5 kg.Watch 9
The Blade not only goes toe-to-toe in almost every benchmark but even manages to outperform the Titan, despite packing a slightly less aggressive CPU.Read N
Well, first off, contrary to last year's version, the much sleeker chassis compared to the high-end competition in this form factor does not come with any performance trade-offs, and Razer's largest laptop is also one of the fastest laptops, period. In addition, they still managed to keep a rather sleek appearance at a nump and RGB window and improved keyboard.Watch G
Using the Blade 18's keyboard becomes a slightly sticky endeavour after a short while, by virtue of that more condensed unibody design.Read N
The 2026 iteration of Razer's top-of-the-line gaming laptop, the Blade 18, offers once again a pretty fantastic combination of being among the fastest notebooks you can buy while still being able to reliably cool the pretty beefy core components inside a super sleek and incredibly premium chassis.Watch T
Unsurprisingly, Razer has shifted the performance bar even higher with the Razer Blade 18, whose primary market seems to be gamers who are looking for a laptop to replace their desktop computers.Watch M
The build quality is fantastic and the laptop feels incredibly solid. This year, the chassis is actually thicker than the previous Razer Blade 18 laptops due to the new thermal shelf that they've added to the bottom. This little thermal shelf raises the laptop whilst providing more room for larger fans and better air flow.Watch M
The Razer Blade 18 versus the Legion 9i. Now, both of these are incredible 18-in desktop replacements. And the reason that I'm putting both these together is because they're not your traditional 18-in gaming laptops. I would consider these more gaming stroke workstations or content creation machines due to some of the decisions that companies have made in these laptops.Watch M
Now, we've been loving this year's Razer Blade 18. It's made an amazing work and gaming laptop with its crispy 4K Plus display and more power than we've ever seen in a Razer Blade. But Razer have made some questionable choices with the 1 TB Gen 4 SSD and 32 GB of 5,600 RAM. Well, we want to see how far we can upgrade this Blade.Watch A
The Razer Blade 18 isn't just a laptop. It's a game changer that crams more power, screen, and sheer audacity into one chassis than anything else out there. But 2 months in, does it still deliver the hype, or is it just an expensive brick? Stick around. I'm breaking it all down from the sweatinducing heat to the deals that might actually make this wallet melter worth it.Watch T

These are demanding games running at an extremely high resolution, and overall, the Blade 18 is very much in the upper tier of gaming laptops when it comes to raw performance. But for me, one of the biggest reasons to consider this laptop isn't actually the RTX 5090, it's the display. The Blade 18 uses an 18-in dual mode display.Watch T
This is the Razer Blade 18. And it's not just a laptop. It's the most powerful Blade Razer has ever built. A machine that delivers true desktop level performance. Packs more thermal power than any of its class rivals and smashes boundaries with the world's first dual mode 18-in display. This isn't just a gaming laptop. This is a portable battle station.Watch K
The reason why I purchased a Razer Blade 18 is for a few reasons. One, I am a creative. So, just to preface this entire video to give you guys my use case, I am a creative. I'm a full-time creative. I'm a wedding photographer and videographer in the UK.Watch T
Whether you're playing the latest AAA games with ray tracing enabled, streaming to your audience, editing 4K and even 8K videos, creating 3D content, or working with AI applications, this machine has more than enough performance to handle virtually anything you throw at it. One of the biggest reasons this laptop stands out is its massive 18-in dual mode display.Watch T
The biggest reason to consider the Razer Blade 18 is its incredible performance. The Razer Blade 18 is built for users who want absolute performance without compromise, delivering desktop class power in a refined and premium laptop form. Real-time ray tracing, AI accelerated graphics, and highresolution creative workloads.Watch C
First impressions matter, and as always with Razer's blade lineup, the chassis craftsmanship is top of its class. CNC mil from a single block of aviation grade aluminum, the uni-body frame feels exceptionally rigid and premium.Watch

RB18 2025 and it’s been solid. Incredible machine really. By far the fastest laptop I’ve ever owned. Only issues are occasional cursor jumps when using the trackpad and battery issues when updating gpu drivers. Stick with stock windows updates and ignore nvidia direct downloads.Read thread S
I don't love proprietary power connectors, but in this case, I can at least see why they did it. It's not like you can do 400 watts through a USBC. These are the worst cable management straps ever though. Like I literally cut them off of every blade that I have ever owned.Watch C
The Razer Blade 18 is the pinnacle of the company’s gaming laptop lineup. Sporting some of the top hardware available, including an Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX, NVIDIA GeForce 5090 and 64GB of RAM, the Blade 18 aims to compete with the best gaming laptops on the market.Read U
The Razer Blade 18 delivers on everything you'd expect out of a beefy gaming laptop along with a few cool features, including the world's first 18-in dual mode display. But nothing's perfect, and this is no exception. Switching resolutions is anything but seamless, and it costs about 500,000 pretty pennies. Yeah, half a million of them.Watch D
The device that I’m talking about is the Razer Blade 18, powered by an Intel Core Ultra 9 chipset and an Nvidia 5090 GPU. The moment I unboxed the laptop, the first thing that I could say was ‘This doesn’t feel like an 18-inch gaming beast’. But, well, it is.Read E
Overall, it's a really nice package. So, aside from its price, my biggest gripe with the Blade 18 is the lack of additional component choices, especially when it comes to display options.Watch N
The Blade 18 is a compelling option indeed, weren't it for it's weird display. It's like the laptop doesn't know who to serve, gamers or creators, and so it landed somewhere in the middle.Watch M
And hands down, this is probably one of the best 18-inch gaming laptops. Actually, you know what? It's probably one of the best gaming laptops you can buy right now, as long as you don't mind a big laptop. Now, not everyone's going to agree with me for two specific reasons. One, it's ridiculously expensive.Watch L
I just purchased a Razer Blade 18 to take advantage of credit card sign up discounts. However, the 16 has a few specs that are better. But, overall the 18 is better other than ram.Read J
Many other gaming laptops with mini LED screens were brighter than the Blade 18. Asus' Sky 18 actually has the same panel according to Hardware Info. And with HDR enabled, they're about the same brightness. The Sky 18 can get brighter in SDR mode though, and that's because unlike the Blade, the Sky gives you more control over how the lighting zones work. Screen response time was decent.Watch M
The Razer Blade 18 may lack some points in raw gaming performance, but it makes up for it with a smaller footprint, Gsync etc and a much nicer look.Watch K
But, some things are genuinely impressive and others not so much, especially at this price point. And today, we're diving into all of that.Watch F Facebook tomshardware
The Razer Blade 18 is a large gaming rig with an 18-inch dual-mode display and strong performance, but it runs hot and is very expensive.View post R
The CNC aluminum chassis is dense and feels premium, but Razer's claim of a uni-bonding precision doesn't change the fact that this thing is a shoulder workout to carry around. Still, it's an 18-in class machine, and the build quality is where a significant chunk of Razer's price tag goes to. It feels solid, but it's definitely not a featherweight. The Razer Blade 18 ports are a strong point.Watch E
It's huge, powerful and has terrible battery life. But that's okay.Read G
If you're looking for a lightweight companion for the couch or a backpack-friendly rig for college, the tradeoffs start to show. The headline spec that gets the most attention is the RTX 4080 GPU paired with an Intel Core Ultra 9290HX.Watch

Our recommendation is therefore to buy the 2025 SKU as long as you can and save some money, because you get the same chassis, same display and pretty much the same hardware specs. For more information on the new Razer Blade 18 2026, please see our comprehensive review .Read M
And considering the price of these laptops, that's a bit of a miss from Razer. Now, in the UK, where I've bought both of these laptops, the prices are actually very similar. This Razer Blade 18 cost me 3,599, and the Alienware 18 with slightly better specs cost 3,699. But as usual with Alienware, you're more likely to get a discount code. Right.Watch C
The Razer Blade 18 (2025) We have a very thin chassis, so the cooling cannot dissipate 160 watts, which is why the processor throttles. The Razer Blade 18 (2026) Let’s do nothing with the cooling system and just install a 200-watt processor! Great idea!Watch L
