The Lenovo Legion 5i Pro serves to be a good 2022 refresh of the ever popular gaming laptop series. With solid specs and performance across the board, this is a gaming laptop that takes your money and gives it back and then some. While the weight and brick charger might be something you won't like, that's the tradeoff for performance as good as this.Read A
This is the new Legion 5i! And it is one of the only gaming laptops I can still recommend. The RAM crisis has done a huge amount of damage to the gaming laptop space over the last year. But when the Legion team reached out to sponsor a video on this their, 5i, I was excited because this is one of those laptops that actually still makes sense. It is priced, somewhat reasonably.Watch G
The Lenovo Legion 5i Gen 11 is built for people who want more than just frame rates. With an Intel Core Ultra 7 356H processor, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 8GB graphics, 32GB DDR5 memory, and a 1TB SSD, this configuration offers the kind of balanced horsepower that works well for gaming, content creation, and even emerging local LLM workflows.Read T
This level of performance with this display, it's a 165 Hz quality plus OLED if you're asking, terrific battery life, great connectivity, properly good cooling, and some fancy AI shenanigans going on behind the scenes to give you even better performance. I'm very excited to show you this and give you a bit of a walk through.Watch N
The Lenovo Legion 5i (15″, Gen 11) is one of the most balanced 15-inch gaming laptops we have tested recently. It does not try to look overly aggressive, yet it delivers the kind of sustained RTX 5060 performance that many flashier machines would struggle to match.Read V
This is a Legion 5i gaming laptop. And the laptop packs like killer specs on board, guys. Despite powerful hardware, right, it is actually quite slim and also portable. So, I'm like pretty excited to unbox it and talk about the whole laptop and see how it performs in different scenarios. Talking about the specs, right, main highlight would be the display.Watch S
The Lenovo Legion 5i with its GeForce RTX 5070 and 14th Gen Core i7 is a terrific value. It can handle just about anything gaming-wise in 1080p/1440p, comes with a gorgeous OLED screen, and has more than enough ports to match all your gaming needs.Read L
One of the biggest highlights here is definitely the OLED display. Honestly, this is probably the feature that makes the laptop stand out the most. From what I've seen online, OLED panels completely change the gaming and media experience because you get much deeper blacks, better contrast, more vibrant colors, and a more cinematic look overall compared to standard IPS gaming displays.Watch Y Your next gaming laptop should also run AI. The Legion 5i's power-hungry OLED saps its share of battery life, but the trade-off is worth it. The display delivers exceptional visual performance, reaching an outstanding peak brightness of 530 nits and covering nearly all the DCI-P3 and Adobe RGB color gamuts. While the Alienware’s IPS panel proved brighter, it didn't quite match the Legion's vibrancy.Read J
So, overall build quality is right where you would expect for a mid-range gaming laptop. Perfectly adequate, but not winning any awards. It's very similar to Lenovo's Legion Slim 5, which is actually a different laptop compared to this Legion 5. Just to make things confusing. The new Legion 5 is almost the same size as Lenovo's Legion Slim 5. The Legion 5 is just slightly thicker and deeper.Watch Q Quora Quora answer

In terms of build quality, it's quite good. The lid is metal, which feels sturdy and resists flex when you pick it up from the corner. The bottom panel is plastic, which is where Lenovo has made a compromise to keep the weight reasonable, and at about 1.86 kg, it is on the lighter side for a gaming laptop with this level of hardware inside.Watch I Instagram Instagram post

Although 8 GB seems too little, it still does its job at 1600p with reasonably high settings. Now, moving on to the other important parts of this laptop, it only has 16 GB of DDR5 RAM and 1 TB of storage. Both of these are upgradeable with two slots for each module.Watch
