Well, the image quality is extremely nice and crisp. Wow. Okay. Highly detailed. Indoors around 80 fps dropping into high 70s. But outdoors will drop not in this location. But I know for a fact that once we enter an area where there's a lot of foliage, a lot of trees, the FPS will drop a little bit. My guess is it will be around 70 plus, but low 70s.

There are some questionable design choices that were made in terms of monitoring the amount of power on each pen. It is problematic in just about every 12v2 GPU that exists now. But those are videos for another day. This is just performance fit and finish with the prime. Now given this is two and a half slots, wouldn't the founders edition make more sense? It's two slots.

Buy a 5080 if one can find one somewhat close to MSRP or just wait for next generation of Nvidia and AMD's GPUs. Worth the wait? PS can't wait to see what remedy will do with Control 2. I'm with you on that one. Alex, it's the classic should I buy now or should I wait argument really, but there is a specific use case in mind here.

I can vouch for the Asus TUF 5080. Excellent cooling. Mine's on +300 core/+1000 mem on the 110% power limit. Doesn't even get to 60c with 22c ambient.

The RTX 5080, everybody wanted to love it, but it got absolutely flamed in the original lineup of reviews thanks to its fairly poulry performance uplift over the RTX 4080 Super. And at the same price, well, it didn't have a whole lot of people excited. But the RTX 5080 has a trick up its sleeve that could actually make it a whole lot faster.

Everyone said that this is the worst card ever launched by Nvidia. And for the right reasons. It was barely any faster than its predecessor, the RTX 4080. It has the same 16 GB of VRAM buffer.
