1440p is definitely a resolution where the Radeon RX 9070 XT shines, as the improvements in image fidelity are immediately noticeable on a standard 27-inch display, with AMD's new AI-powered FSR 4 also delivering fantastic image quality when using the 'Quality' preset. It's not as good as NVIDIA's new DLSS 4.5, but it's close enough that FSR 4 finally offers a real alternative.

This is the video card you want if you want to maintain 4K gaming, 1440p high-end gaming under 1,000 bucks. This is it. And the one right here is made by ASUS, it's the ASUS Prime OC model. You don't have to get the OC model. The OC model only adds like 1 to 3% performance, but it comes in white. Uh now, it's not uncommon to find these on crazy sales.

We gave this card a Recommended award in our Radeon RX 9070 XT review , where we were impressed by its cool, low-noise operation for the huge performance on offer, as well as its premium build quality. The cheaper Pulse model is also well worth considering at this price, as they’re both based on AMD’s current fastest GPU, which is an absolute beast.

I'll pass." Well, at least on Stalker 2, I was pleasantly surprised that we didn't even need to use any upscaling like on the RTX 570. Cuz on 1440p epic settings and native rendering, we got well over 60 FPS on average with a couple of slowdowns in the busy city area, which I'll be brutal and blame on this poor Ryzen 5 9600X handling this beast.
