Otherwise, I think the 5070ti is the best "value" card from Nvidia if you can get it for MSRP or under, and really the 9070 XT is prolly the best value card in this segment now that FSR4 actually seems to compete with DLSS in the games that support it. Which is still pretty few compared to DLSS and is much of the reason why I wanted to stay on team green for now.

Okay, this looks way better than I expected and yeah, this is like obviously an RTX 5070, but this is actually an ASUS version. So, yeah, ASUS is just a really good graphics card manufacturer, so I'm actually really happy with that. We got lucky on that graphics card. Overall though, I have to say just looking at all of this, the cable management looks amazing. Everything looks so clean.

The RTX 5070 also supports Nvidia’s multi frame gen (MFG) tech, which uses AI to insert several frames between the ones genuinely rendered by your shader cores. It’s not a magic fix for a slow frame rate, but if your game is already running at 60fps, enabling MFG gives you super-smooth motion that looks and feels great on a monitor with a high refresh rate.

Moving to 12 GB, it allows a 5070 to perform as it should. Plus, laptops with a 5070, they're more in that sweet spot in terms of pricing. Once you go to a 5070 Ti or above, your frames per dollar tends to become worse. Also, I'm not sure you know this, but laptops with a 5070 Ti, they use a different motherboard. It's the same one that more powerful 5080 and 5090 laptops use.

But it is not a bad card and is probably the sweet spot right now if you want an NVIDIA card. It is nowhere near as bad as people are making it out to be. And with prices coming down, it’s becoming a better value than it was at launch. If you want it, get it. You will not be disappointed. Don’t let anyone shame you for wanting to go with the 5070.

So, this is already a superb experience. Highly enjoyable. The level of detail we can see on the screen is nice and high. So any enemies in the distance, easily spotted. That's what we want. This card is everything I want in a graphics card. A good design with thoughtful features and solid performance without any noise. The Asus Prime manages to deliver on every single front and does not disappoint whatsoever. Design-wise, it has the gorgeous curvy and industrial look of the Asus Pro Art series. Thankfully, the XG Mobile solves this issue. On paper, the XG Mobile RTX 5070 Ti sounds absurd. And physically, it kind of is. But I agree, the 5070 with MFG is pretty capable. 1440p Cyberpunk Path Traced with 4x MFG, DLSS balanced, nets something around 170-190fps, which makes for a very smooth experience on a 240hz oled monitor. With how good DLSS is, the 5070 is not bad at 4k. Which in that instance, the card could've done with more vram. Personally, the 5070 and 5070 Ti are the sweet spot of this generation.

This presents as the best value gaming laptop that money can possibly buy pretty much at least when it's on sale. Now, this particular unit features the RTX 5070 Ti and the Intel 275HX with a QHD plus 240 Hz 100% P3 color gamut on paper display. It doesn't quite test that high in practice. And… yeah, the driver issue has been very frustrating. I will say that, the current drivers for the Ryzen AI 300 and RTX 5070 have (so far) been a lot better… but you shouldn’t have to replace the CPU and GPU just to get functioning drivers. They really do need to fix the driver situation for the 1st gen CPU and GPU.

For the most part, performance is really solid… but I did run into some weird situations where the frame rate would drop even when there was still plenty of headroom. I’m not 100% sure what’s causing that yet (could be memory bandwidth, cache, or something else), but I show exactly what I experienced and the settings I used so you can see for yourself.

Next you’d have the 5070 Ti which is IMHO the best card of this gen, then come 5080 and 5090, though what do you do with a 100W 5080/5090, because both are already power constrained at their max 175W. The only reason would be to get more VRAM, which some AI or rendering people could surely use.

If you have a normal mid-tower, the argument gets weaker fast because this is still an RTX 570 first, and the value depends on whether the smaller, easier to fit design solves a real problem for you. That is the most important point here. You're not paying for a huge jump in GPU performance just because this one says ASUS Prime OC. You're paying for the version of the card.

It's a great card indeed, maybe you have to tweak some settings to use less Vram in some games but nothing that compromises your game time.
