The Radeon RX 9060 XT is an excellent GPU for 1080p and even for 1440p gaming, considering you are going for the 16 GB edition. This is currently the cheapest modern-gen 16 GB GPU you can buy, which trades blows with the more expensive GeForce RTX 5060 Ti 16 GB.

It seems like it can get by with upscaling on most games but may not leave that much room for future proofing. Up to you whether or not you buy the card, save for a few more months but risk prices going up with dram shortages.

Also, AMD's VRAM management is pathetic. There are several videos of the 9070xt in some games maxing out VRAM at 4k, HAHAHAHAHA!

Not sure where you're getting that idea at, but from ALL of the benchmarks I've seen, regardless of whether it's the 8GB or the 16GB version, the performance difference is moderate to minimal. And in some games, non-existent. So close as to be almost inconsequential really depending on what game and also specific settings.
