The ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 is one of the most powerful and portable 14 inch gaming laptops in 2025, and with epic battery life, a beautiful OLED screen, solid build quality and the latest specs, there’s a lot to like. But nothing in life is perfect, the G14 has some compromises you need to know about before buying.Read P
Wireless connectivity is also a plus on the Zephyrus G14. It supports tri-band Wi-Fi 7, and it has proven very fast and stable in my testing, albeit while connected to a Wi-Fi 6 network. Its Bluetooth 5.4 connection has also proven consistent, though it’s getting disappointing to not see Bluetooth 6.0 nowadays.Read G

Even though its much less powerful than my previous, which had a 5090 laptop GPU, I have found that I am much more likely to actually play this and bring it with me since it is so much more portably and less chunky than a lot of traditional gaming laptops. It still has a dedicated 5070 laptop GPU, and runs windows, so Im not losing out in terms of compatibility. But this laptop has really made meView post V
This 14-inch laptop can become a MacBook Pro killer. This is ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 with AMD Ryzen 9 AIHX processor. It has RTX 5070 Ti GPU. At first, I thought it is a thin laptop with 1.6KG, So the graphics card must be low TGP but no. It has a 120W TGP 5070 Ti GPU. Its Pricing is around Rs 2.7 Lakh and MacBook M4 Pro is also priced at Rs 2.4 Lakh. That comes with 14-Core CPU and 20-Core GPU.Watch P

Check out how razor thin this guy is. Super lightweight. A lot of that performance has to do with the new series 3 Intel Core Ultra 9 chips. Obviously, you can spec this with an RTX 5090, but this one has a very like modest 5070 Ti. We'll get into that. I just want to show some of this hotel first, some of the weekend before all the new products and the show.Watch G
In 2025, the Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 continues to stand out as a gaming laptop that balances high-end performance with portability. While desktop PCs still offer unmatched upgrade potential and raw power, the G14 proves that a laptop can deliver near-desktop-level performance for modern gaming and streaming without occupying an entire room.Read J
And I think ASUS has done a very good job of that because it's a computer that has a great display, great hardware, build quality, a dedicated RTX GeForce graphics. And in this case, you've got the latest and greatest CPU as well, and plenty of different options depending on what you're looking for. Before we get started though, it is actually ROG's 20th anniversary.Watch Q Quora Quora answer
The 4050 in your laptop is actually quite good, so no worries. Before buying software (I usually use free stuff), make sure that the software supports the GPU and there are no driver issues. Sometimes you need to install a specific driver version, however, generally it is recommended to have the newest driver version installed.Read answer M
And honestly, I'm totally okay with that because these were already two of the best looking gaming laptops you can buy. But what Asus did instead is a bunch of smaller improvements that add up to a better overall experience. The first thing they did was lid lighting. It still has slash lighting, but on the newer models, it looks more like a mirrored slash when the lights are off.Watch Z r/ZephyrusG14 u/Remarkable-Dark2840 · owner
This laptop definitely ticks all your requirements, I have the 5070ti model. I must say, I was quite impressed with how it performs, in stock config. If you’re looking for that perfect blend of power and portability in a gaming laptop, then you’ve probably come across ASUS’s Zephyrus G14, a popular option, and for good reason! Asus's Zephyrus G14 was the best 14-in gaming laptop I tested last year. And now it's better than ever in 2026 with more FPS in games, more battery life, a brighter screen, and more. And so after lots of trips, lots of bags, lots of transporting, I do want to say that this aluminum chassis has been holding up well. I haven't cleaned it or anything like that. So this is literally what it looks like. The body does, however, have some minor scratches here and there.Watch W

It is an amazing panel. Less screen wobble, one of the things that plagued the previous models. We don't get that here, so that is going to be great. Uh improved cooling system as well. Now, graphics-wise, we're looking at the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5080 laptop GPU, and it is an upgrade, definitely a big upgrade, I think, over last year's model that I reviewed, the one with the 4060. Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 2026 - simply THE BEST portable gaming laptop!Watch C
I've been using the 2025 Sephus G14 and G16 almost every single day, and so far they've been awesome, but I've learned quite a bit of things since I got them. So, let's see how they've held up after 2 months.Watch C
With a new AMD AI HX 370 CPU and a very impressive RTX 5080, this thing should crush any competition at its size. That RTX5080 gets 120 W from the laptop, so it should be able to stretch its legs quite a bit. And that 16 GB of VRAM should excite quite a lot of people. Also, with this newer AMD chip, it should be a lot faster and also run a lot more efficiently.Watch C
What's absolutely clear after a year of use is that the Zephris G14 is an absolute tank. I've pulled it out of my bag at least a thousand times and I've inserted USB devices and the charger even more than that. And with this dark gray color, you'd think that it would have scratches by now, right? But it looks almost completely new, like I just bought it.Watch C
The Zephorus G14 is arguably the best all-around laptop of 2025. It's built incredibly well and has a lot of power for this little size. But so far, I've only reviewed the RTX 570Ti model, which is a bit on the expensive side. So, today I finally got the cheapest entry-level model with the RTX 5060.Watch C
And at this same price, the Zephris just has faster components. It also has a lot more power available for its GPU, which we will see the results of in the performance benchmarks. Both of these laptops actually have the exact same port selection, and it has basically everything you can think of.Watch C
>> Overall, the G14 is a sturdy, thin, and light machine. I mean, you don't even feel this thing when you put it in your backpack. So, so far, it's been great. With that new Intel Ultra 9 chip and the higher wattage 5070 TI, it also got quite the performance bump compared to last year, despite having similar specs.Watch C
From the outside, the Zephyrus G14 is still one of the best built Windows laptops you can buy. It has a fully aluminum body from top to bottom and now feels even sturdier from an improved back plates, which also allows for more airflow. ASUS gave the exhaust a little more space to breathe as well, which should mean better cooling. The LED slash on the back also got improvements.Watch C
I just reviewed the 2026 Zephyrus G14 and it is simply amazing. But, it's also a little expensive right now and it doesn't exist in a vacuum because the 2025 G14 is still readily available and a whole lot cheaper. So, which one of these is better and more importantly, which one is more worth it? Let's find out.Watch R
We love this laptop right here.Watch J
This is a beautiful gaming laptop. There's almost no difference over the 2022 model other than the keys being a bit more of a neutral color that matches the body better, but hey, it's sleek, it's small, it's pretty thin, and I have the white finish here and I think that looks absolutely amazing. And the 4090 model here does not have the Anime Matrix lid.Watch L
The ROG Zephyrus G14 is actually my DREAM laptop!Watch T
This year’s model is equipped with the Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 and an RTX 5080, arguably the most impressive performance combo you can fit into a thin and light machine.Watch B
So, I'm actually very, very excited. I think the box looks clean in my opinion. They have like a different style of unboxing. There's a bunch of stuff in there. I'm guessing this is the laptop itself. Looks nice. Let's see. Bro, this is this is the charger. That is big as hell. That's it.Watch B
And I personally just enjoy typing on the butin keyboard of the Asus G14. It feels tactile and satisfying. Definitely the best keyboard I've used on a laptop. All right. So, good morning. Yo, it's currently almost 11:00. It's kind of like a slow start for me cuz I haven't gone to the gym yet.Watch C
Overall, I've been incredibly impressed by this device. And though 6 months is not a really long time, per se, I have confidence that this thing is going to continue to hold up for years to come. The construction of it is solid. I mean, it's just as every bit as solid as a MacBook would be.Watch G
Let's kick things off with the design because ASUS absolutely nailed it. Weighing in at roughly 3 and 1/2 lb and housed in a premium ultra-sleek chassis, the G14 completely destroys the chunky gamer stereotype. It has a clean, minimalist aesthetic that looks just as good in a professional boardroom or a college classroom as it does at a gaming tournament.Watch T
Now, this is an absolutely fantastic looking display. Genuinely one of the best displays I've ever personally laid my eyes on. It's 2880 by 18800 resolution, goes up to 120 Hz, and like I said, it's OLED, so it makes those colors pop. Super vibrant, very, very deep blacks. For content creation, it's super color accurate. Actually, it's amazing to edit videos on.Watch

Overall, coming from a lower spec model of the 2024 G14, I have to say I'm very satisfied with the 2026 model, but Ihave to admit that it's much more expensive than the 2025 model, especially if the only upgrade you're interested in is the 5070 Ti over the 4060 or 4070.Read thread M

Overall build quality feels excellent, and the texture just feels more metallic compared to any older G14. So Keyboard flex is minor, and so is lid flex too, but I found the lid to be more wobbly compared to before. It can flop around for quite a while if you bump the table or move the screen. It’s not amazing when compared against other laptops, but hey it’s still more than half as quick compared to the G14 last year, so that’s a welcome improvement. Now, smaller short-form projects that I edit in Premiere using my Sony a7S III and a7 IV was a breeze for the most part. And as per usual, if you can live with the relatively low brightness in SDR and HDR and aren't put up by PWM, the high-res panel is simply amazing. Whether you play your favorite games, watch a show on Netflix, browse the web, or do anything related to content creation. For 2025, the G14 comes with two chassis variants.Watch C
I actually prefer it over the gray color. All right, enough about color. I don't want to get too controversial here. Our white Zephris G14 has an RTX 5070Ti with 12 GB of VR RAM and our gray G14 has an RTX 5080 with 16 GB of VRAM. But both of these GPUs have a TGP of 120 W. Now, other than the different GPUs between them, they are pretty much exactly the same.Watch C
The new 2026 RTX 5080 model has got to have the worst value out of them all. They were for sale very briefly at ridiculous prices, but now I can't even find them anywhere except on eBay. A lot of the lowest and the highest-spec models of the new G14 aren't even available in the US. Probably because they're very hard to market at these prices. >> At number six, we have last year's 5070 spec.Watch T
This change in GPU class brings a big boost in gaming performance, but has some major compromises, too. But before we get to those, let's take a closer look at the rest of this laptop. Returning to its build, it really is one of the most finely crafted gaming laptops available. It really has that sense of being huned from a solid block of metal, which most of it is.Watch H
For thermals and cooling, this thing runs hot. Not melt your skin off hot, but it's definitely going to give you a first or even a second-degree burn if you leave it on your lap. So, yeah, it's thin and light, but that small form factor comes at a cost and that is thermals. Under heavy load, the keyboard and touchpad area get pretty warm, which in turn leads to sweaty fingers.Watch
