But other than that, overall, on a scale of 1 to 10, I'm giving the JBL Flip 7 and the JBL Charge 6 a major major major go. I love the sound signature. I love the customizable EQ and my favorite feature, AraCast. Not only did it with these uh little speakers down here, but I could take these upstairs, connect them to my Party Box Ultimates, and go crazy.Watch T
The JBL Charge 6 wants to prove that last statement wrong, and if our recently published five-star review is anything to go by – and it is – there’s very little it can’t do, and everything it does do, it does so incredibly well. The best part is that it can now be picked up with a 20% discount at Amazon , in a variety of colours.Read W
It's not a huge difference, but it's worth knowing that added weight on the charge brings with it some significant advantages that I'll highlight as we go through the video. However, something you should definitely consider if you're backpacking or you absolutely must travel light because maybe you've maxed out your weight capacity for your carry-on luggage.Watch T
If you want a bass-forward, highly portable Bluetooth speaker that you can take outdoors without worrying about wet dogs or sandy children, the JBL Charge 6 is the best option. About the size of a water bottle, we're highly impressed by how loud the Charge 6 gets for its small size.Read F
The JBL Charge 6 already hits hard with bass. So, let me show you the easiest way to set the best bass and equalizer in the JBL portable app. So, first you have to turn on your JBL chair 6 by pressing the power button and then just go for App Store or Play Store and from here you have to install and open up the app. First, play your favorite track and finetune the slider.Watch F
The JBL Charge 6 is super sturdy, and my cat has tested this claim for me multiple times by knocking it off tables, and it still looks brand new. It’s rated IP68 for water- and dustproofing, and it can handle a 1 meter drop to concrete with ease.Read G
So, both the JBL Charge 6 and the JBL Flip 7 have some notable performance improvements over their predecessors. And if you're trying to choose between either the JBL Charge 6 or the JBL Flip 7, then it's honestly going to come down to portability, battery life, and sound performance. As you can hear, the Charge 6 delivers a more balanced sound, especially with vocals and instruments. The Charge 5, on the other hand, can get a little muddy in the mid-range, especially higher volumes. But don't get me wrong, it's still impressive for its price point. What really sets the Charge 6 apart is it deeper, richer bass and clearer heights.Watch A

So, my guys, if you're all about powerful sound, deeper base, and longer battery life, the JBL Char 6 is the clear winner. It's basically a mini boom box that doesn't mess around. But if you're after something more portable, budget friendly, and still surprisingly punchy for its size, the JBL Flip 6 is still a killer choice, especially for everyday use.Watch O
So, if you value versatility and the option to carry it in different ways, the Charge 6 is a great pick. But if you're a fan of the shoulder strap and slightly larger form factor, the ULT Field 3 might be more up your alley. Moving on to controls and usability, both speakers have unique setups.Watch O
So, if you value flexibility and deeper sound customization, the Charge 6 clearly takes the advantage here. When it comes to sound performance, this is where the battle gets seriously interesting. The JBL Charge 6 delivers up to 45 watts of power.Watch O

The unboxing is as always amazing. There's a little tab here. The charge is embossed. Okay, there's like a strip in here. I don't know how we open this. There's a little drawer in there. JBL's legendary Charge 5 speaker just got a successor and it's a good one. This is the brand new Charge 6 and JBL isn't holding back with this refresh. They've provided even longer battery life and an improved version of the all-important power bank feature that quite literally gives this speaker its name. But the upgrades don't stop there.Watch R
This is an upgrade from the Charge 5, which used two ports, USBC for charging and USBA for power delivery. The Charge 6 is rated IP68, meaning it's both waterproof and dustproof. That's a slight improvement on the IP67 rating of the Charge 5. In practice, that means you can submerge the Charge 6 in 1/2 m of water for up to 30 minutes, where the Charge 5 wasn't certified for deeper than a meter.Watch E
The speaker, I'm so happy that I got this purple colorway cuz this purple colorway is a dark purple, and I love dark purple. Feels pretty good so far, though. You can also double it up if you just need a loop on one side. Seems to have the same startup sound as the previous JBL Charge 5. You can see the passive radiators have been redesigned slightly. I think it looks a little better. You can see the shape is slightly different now that the base is different.Watch W
Both are built to handle the outdoors, but the Charge 6 definitely wins for being more rugged and portable. Moving on to features and controls. Overall, the JBL Charge 6 offers a strong combination of powerful sound, long battery life, portability, and rugged durability. It's a great option for music lovers who want a portable speaker that performs well both at home and outdoors.Watch T
Straight away, I can tell you that it is a better speaker than its predecessor, but it's not a groundbreaking new model. Essentially, it's simply more refined. At a quick glance, it doesn't look like much has changed. It has the same excellent rugged but familiar JBL design. What you will notice though is there's now a carry strap which comes in the box.Watch U
Now, as you can see, I have the bright red version here, which actually looks really nice. It looks better in real life than it does in the pictures, actually. Looks really good. And just to demonstrate the new strap, here it is. You just get the speaker and you put the ends through the loops here and then kind of attach it. It's a bit fiddly, but Hopefully you won't be removing it too much.Watch T
And as you guys know, the JBL Charge 5, which I reviewed, was one of my favorite speakers of last year. And I can't wait to jump in and have a look at this. I've had my eye on this for a while and I decided to treat myself. Sorry, my voice is a little bit raspy today, but I don't know what's going on. This set makes it easy to carry your speaker in different ways. All right, let's go ahead and put it on. And I want to point out that this silicone cover has a lot of flexibility to it, so you're able to get it stretched and positioned to where you want it. Also want to point out this bottom rows right here fits perfectly over the rows on the speaker.Watch T
So overall, you're going to get louder volume, crisper highs, and lower lows. There's a small strap on the top of the speaker that you can have in two configurations. I've dubbed it the clutch and the handbag. Now, so the bottom of the speaker is probably where I'd say my favorite upgrade is.Watch

Charge 6 just needs to have 2 woofers and 2 tweeters to 1. Increase max volume output and 2. Give you that surround sound. Also hopefully they can make the battery better to where when you play at higher volumes it wont completely drain the battery out. that would be nice. I know these improvements would make it quite a bit bigger tho so might not happen.Watch G

Now, obviously, the Extreme 4 gets louder, but there are some other important differences here that you should definitely know about.Watch A
The Jbl charge 6 only nailed the stands but the rest of the upgrades are unimpressive. Id rather get the charge 5 and hope charge 7 impresses. JBL goes a bit further with an IP68 rating, which allows the Charge 6 to handle deeper water exposure for a short period of time. And it's drop proof, same as the Altfield 3. It's exactly the same. Well, that's good, isn't it? Because we love the old sound in terms of the logo. Four years later, it's exactly the same. So, if you didn't know, you move it to the left, you move it to the right, it glows a bit. It's not exactly fluorescent. I think uh I think it would be well received if it was like a fluorescent green. Yes. And proper glowed in the dark.Watch J r/JBL u/wildshitfr · owner

In my opinion, only consider it if you find a really close deal. Otherwise, stick with the Charge 5 as the improvements aren't substantial. In the next video, I'll be testing which speaker offers longer play time and which provides better Bluetooth range for stable playback. I'll also go through their build quality to assess their potential longetivity.Watch F

As much as I like the option as a whole, I feel like I need to point out that this part of the strap feels very thin and a little flimsy, so I wouldn't trust it 100% personally. Without the strap, the speaker weighs a little under a kilo and is easy enough to carry around on its own. However, if you are backpacking and weight is a very important factor for you, you might want to look at the Flip 7Watch S

Hate that there's not a cable in the box. I did check to see if I missed it and I didn't. There's no cable. Just a strap and some instructions in here. Really mad about that. Uh, but my assessment is if you already have a Charge 5, save your money. Do not buy this. Okay? Unless you just like spending money and you like having new stuff, do not buy this. It's not worth it in my opinion. And I'm not saying that as a slight to JBL or, you know, a Jab or anything like that. I'm just saying the Charge 5 is that freaking great.Watch B
Issue number one, battery life is flatout misleading. Multiple buyers say the advertised 24 to 28 hours is fantasy. Real world use tells a different story. One user reports only nine hours total, while another says at max volume it barely lasts four hours. Others complain they have to charge it every single night and the battery life gets worse over time.Watch
