Marshall Emberton III

T The Review Studio Article

The quality of the sound is amazing, as you would imagine. If there is something wrong with your speaker though, there is an authorised repair service and spare parts through the website. The balance of the sound as well as the clarity are exceptional, even without changing it on the app. The volume is also really generous, with a normal household level being about half way.

The sound quality of the speaker is excellent. Marshall is offering True Stereophonic sound with the Emberton III, which is a unique form of multi-directional, 360-degree sound. The sound is indeed rich, detailed and immersive. The vocals are very clear. The audio fills the room, and you can hear the different instruments clearly.

Right out of the box, the build quality on the Emberton 3 is exactly what you expect from Marshall. It feels dense, premium, and frankly, a bit more rugged than its predecessor.

Emberton III & Major V here, they're amazing!

The treble of Emberton II is better, while the III wins in bass, but listening to music can't be all bass. We also need to listen to the treble sung by people. In short, em II won😂,Marshall didn't win my heart this time, Fortunately, I listened to the two comparisons first this time to decide whether to change it or not.

Marshall highlights the Emberton III as a compact speaker with long battery life, IP67 durability, and multi-directional sound, but real-world use shows both strengths and small limitations.

The Emberton 3 I hear has more bass, but at the detriment of having the clarity of the 2. Bottom line, you REALLY need to try them in your space, because NO Youtube vid will communicate how it really is. So buy and keep the one you like most based on these "informational" videos.

So, for folks who appreciate good design, we recommend the new Marshall Emberton III. Not only does this premium Bluetooth speaker have Marshall's iconic vintage look, but it's also a solid-sounding speaker for its price point.

I like how you make a feedback with the speaker as I was planning to sell my Emberton III to buy a JBL Charge 6. But since you mentioned about its clarity, I will just stick to it as I mostly watch movies. Thank u so much.

T TecH MoE shawnwilson5905 · owner · Feb 2025

They both have annoying voice lag when watching movies via Bluetooth. Middleton II can connect via wire solving this issue. While Emerton III does not include this option.

S Storytripper HD YouTube review · Sept 2024

I just got the Charge 5 tuned with it's equalizer on the APP and it sounds phenomenal! Glad i chose it over emberton 3 which is 3x more expensive and sounds muffled.

Marshall EMBERTON ll The company is fooling customers; it doesn't last over 30 hours—it runs for only 8 hours.

Love the looks of the Emberton III but for just a bit more, I can get a bigger speaker with JBL.
