I love my X2Ds. I also still have the A1 Mini. The aux nozzle works well for support and you can easily have dual color prints. However fine detail with the aux can be tricky. But I’ve used it on larger parts and other projects and it has done great.Read N

Do I need an X2D if I have an H2D? No, not for printing capability — the H2D's build volume, dual extruder, and chamber are all upgrades over the X2D. Where the X2D fits in is as a smaller secondary printer for prototyping, fast single-color iteration, or running a workshop with two simultaneously printing machines without the H2D's footprint.Read M
It's not necessarily going to be bad, it's just not going to be as great. Direct drive extruders just have better control, which is why all modern 3D printers have switched to using them. But like I said, we will absolutely be putting that to the test to see how much, if any, noticeable print quality difference there is between the two. If you are looking at the Bambu X2D, the short version is this: it is a very good printer, it adds genuinely useful features over the P2S, and at its current pricing it is difficult not to recommend over the cheaper machine. It isn't what I wanted, so clearly it's bad. And you got to understand, Bambu has an entire, you know, ladder of of of of tools here. Remember, they are tools. Right right tool for the right job. If you're driving a nail, don't grab a wrench. If you're trying to torque, you know, a bolt on the top of your engine, don't use a screwdriver. This may not be for you.Watch D
I have an issue with this printer and I don't know if it's because of I'm hoping it's not a lemon but I cannot update the firmware. I'm connected to the Wi-Fi. The firmware it does not let me update the firmware at all. I cannot use the USB to update the firmware offline because there is no X2D firmware on Bambu Lab support page yet.
