The X2D makes some crazy good prints! They had a batch of bad AMS’, but I trimmed the spring on the AMS hub and it feeds mostly reliable now. Other than that, I’ve been very impressed. Made this for the wife out of wood infused filament. I’m still using the stock .4 nozzle, and haven’t altered any settings. Very easy to setup and use.

This is easily Bambu Lab's most ambitious printer yet. With dual nozzles, a heated chamber, and more, this is the printer to get. But, if you just want to print colorful plastic toys, do not buy this machine. But, if you're going to print engineering materials at 1,000 mm per second, Bambu Lab just changed the game. Okay, okay.

After more than 500 hours with this machine, I've come to one simple conclusion. This is by far the most boring 3D printer I've ever owned. And I mean that as the biggest compliment I can give to Bambu Lab or this machine

The layer stacking on this printer is really good, very consistent

I had issues with mine loading initially. I rolled back the firmware and it works great now. I also had a lot of failed prints, but as soon as I got the frostbite build plate it never happened again. I’ve never even cleaned that plate! It’s amazing.

If you mostly print simple PLA decorations, X2D is likely more printer than you need. If you print prototypes, housings, jigs, parts with difficult overhangs, support material or carbon-fiber blends, the value proposition becomes much stronger.

This week Bambu have released the new X2D. And I'm going to be honest with you, my initial reaction to this printer was both confusion and a bit of disappointment as well. In this review, I test the dual nozzle toolhead, chamber heating performance, VFA improvements and first layer quality — and put the X2D into context of Bambu Lab’s current lineup and the overall market. The result: a very capable machine… but one that might not be the printer some would have wanted

z wobble, failed AMS loading/unloading, clogging, second nozzle won't release, bad auto z offset.

In contrast, the X2D can be found starting at 19,000 Mexican pesos, which is approximately $650. So you could buy up to 2 X2Ds and it would cost you the same as one H2D. And having more printers gives you the opportunity to make more parts in less time. Personally, I wouldn't buy this machine if it was my first printer, but if I already had experience with materials and wanted to experiment with more professional things, I definitely would

I have been using the printer now for a week, and my verdict after over 50 hours of printing is every advantage comes with a disadvantage. And there's one major key selling point of this printer. >> The dual nozzle system. This is perfect for designs like this that require a lot of support material. One nozzle for the main part and the other for the dedicated support material.

I don't think the X2D was nearly the miss that it's being perceived online with. I also don't think it's the greatest thing since sliced bread. I'm kind of in this middle ground where I can see where it would be a good thing for people to have and it would be applicable for a lot of people, not necessarily everybody, but a lot of people
