I spent my own hard-owned money on this, a Bambu Lab P2S – specifically the combo with the AMS 2 Pro, and I’ve printed a fair number of custom parts with it – mostly for my custom sim rig cockpit (video in the cards above) – and I thought I’d give you my thoughts and experience with it, because hot damn this is good. Bambu Lab’s focus has always been on bringing advanced performance to everyday users, and the P2S is another step forward in that mission. Bambu Lab explains that a quick-swap hotend system makes nozzle changes easy. At the same time, the P2S Combo version includes the AMS 2 Pro, a multi-material unit with built-in filament drying and smart humidity control.

Can't get mad for it being mini, but having the extra build volume of the P2S has been absolutely fantastic. And this is kind of, at least for me, an ideal size. It's significantly bigger than the Puscha, but it's kind of like the perfect practical size for printing pretty much anything that you need without feeling like you're dealing with limitations

If the P1S didn’t exist and the question was just whether or not you should buy a P2S, I could answer “yes” without any hesitation. The P2S is a fantastic printer that is perfect for hobbyists and professionals who want something more capable than the A1 or A1 Mini, but don’t need the size of the H2 series (or don’t want to spend that much money).

The P1S is already AMS-capable, but the P2S improves filament switching reliability and reduces failed color changes thanks to smarter pressure handling and flow tuning. If you frequently print multi-color or multi-material parts with AMS, the P2S is a clear step up.

The Bambu Lab P2S has suffered at our hands, and after withstanding everything we put it through, it is now our main driver for 3D printing miniatures and other projects.

But after almost 200 hours of printing on the P2S, what do I think? Well, I I think it's safe to say that it's a much needed upgrade for sure

With its upgraded camera and lighting, the new quick swap nozzle system, and of course, the touchcreen on there, it makes for a really nice and easy 3D printing experience. Um, the setup was honestly one of the easiest parts. Um, it was actually easier than my P1S, and that was super super easy. Took me about 30 minutes to remove everything. Uh, plug in the cables, power it on, and let it do its thing. Um, calibration is fully automatic just like the P1S. Um, and it takes about 25 minutes or so. I think 26 minutes. Uh, you literally press a button and watch it work.

Okay, what are my final thoughts about this printer? Okay, obviously this is the best printer I've ever owned

Okay, this was my first experience with P2S and I hope you will have some other experience. I'm writing few lines down in the comment section. And of course, the biggest advantage of this printer is the price. But because of that ventilation system, I still prefer using my XON carbon
