So first starters, I want to tell you that out of the five printers I have, this is my second favorite printer. My FAVORITE favorite is my Prusa i3 MK3. But this one is my second favorite. In fact, its print quality can rival that of the MK3. And it wasn't difficult to put together. The base part of it was pretty much already all together, with the electronics and the bed already in place.

I think the upgrades are worth it, but you still end up with a 3D Printer that requires tinkering from time to time to keep of running well. If you want easy all the time you'll be better off buying new, something like Bambi Labs.

After a year with my Ender 3 Pro, I just want to say. I hate it. Can't wait to upgrade to ANYTHING. Feel like a ham sandwich, if given the right motivation, could print things better than my Ender. Thanks for letting me vent.

I did a similar path to you (Ender 3 Pro, same updates as you except runout), and I was miserable. Yes, I learned a lot about 3d printing while doing it, but I basically never printed unless I REALLY needed something, because I knew I'd spend a bunch of time fiddling and failed prints to get it working. A friend with an unmodified Ender 3 Pro has much better experience.
