The Asus ProArt Display 6K PA32QCV ($1,399) brings a boost in resolution to the company's line of ProArt monitors for creative pros. This Mac-friendly 32-inch IPS display provides vivid colors, superb contrast, and a bright image, earning it an Editors' Choice award. It should appeal to videographers and other creative pros who use Macs as well as Windows PCs. It shares some of its specs with Apple's elite Pro Display XDR , and although it lacks the superb color accuracy, ultra-high HDR brightness, and exceptional contrast ratio of that professional reference monitor, it comes in at a far more reasonable price.

But for $1,300 for a true 6K display with all the IO, the adjustable stand, the color accuracy, I think it's a pretty good buy at 1,300 bucks

The ASUS ProArt PA32QCV is a near-perfect product for macOS users who are afraid of the high price of Apple 6K monitors, but also afraid of the suboptimal display of regular 4K monitors. Not only does it have a pixel density of 218 PPI, the monitor also has Auto KVM and Thunderbolt 4 connectivity, a flexible stand. It can be said that the ProArt PA32QCV is an impressive 31.5-inch 3rd-party Retina 6K solution, priced reasonably and rich in features.

The work went smoothly, and Asus has released this new Pro Art 6K monitor. The price is currently 51,900 baht – you heard that right, 51,900 baht – but it's designed for people working with color. Specifically for video graphics, I can tell you that this Pro Art 6K monitor is a worthwhile investment

The ASUS ProArt Display PA32QCV offers impressive accuracy and versatility for editors and colorists, though OLED still leads in visual brilliance. For this monitor review of the ASUS PA32QCV, I sat down with Gunther, my colleague, who is in charge of all our camera lab tests and who is now also checking and reporting back on the different displays he is using.

I’ll cut to the chase: it’s a nice resolution upgrade from an Apple or LG 5k display. But that’s about it – in every other visual respect (brightness, contrast, etc) it’s basically the same or marginally worse (see Matte-ugly ). Though the built-in KVM is a nice addition.

While I'm decently content with the ProArt 6K and what it can do, there are obviously still things it can't do that the Pro Display does that goes above and beyond. Also, when you spend extra money, you get better quality control, something that became apparent during this review when I observed brightness uniformity issues. With everything said, I don't think the Pro Art is intended to compete directly with Apple, but rather slide in at a more affordable price point while still delivering a 6K panel with good colors at a fraction of the price. Any Recommendations? Article

Also Asus uniformity compensation (UC) statistically does not work properly, so even if you trade contrast for uniformity (UC = ON). There are several Asus models with this kind of issue (just search prad.de). Asus UC tends to fix brightneess uniformity issues (the less important) and leave as is color uniformity (the most important and the frist one will notice visually).

For those thinking about buying the Asus PA32QCV, just skip it. Best wait for the glossy 5k mini led or tandem oleds coming out this year (or early 2027) which also have much better refresh rates.
