The Dell UltraSharp U3225QE is the most well-rounded home office monitor in our guide for users who want a standard-format primary display without trade-offs. IPS Black contrast at 4K resolution, 120Hz refresh, and Thunderbolt 4 at 140W — in a 32-inch form factor that fits comfortably on any desk without requiring a deep room or a significant adjustment to the workflow. Where the U4025QW earns its top ranking through format and feature breadth, the U3225QE earns its #2 position through execution: it does everything a home office display needs to do at a high level, with no meaningful weaknesses.Read F

I can already see once again how much smoother 120 hertz is than 60 with this display. I also now have hardware brightness controls. I can turn it up and down and it's not just software filtering. It's actually communicating with the display over that HDMI cable with DDC/CI and updating the brightness in the display itself, which is great cuz as you can see I've got a window behind this displayWatch F
My best work monitor pick, the Dell UltraSharp U3225QE 32-Inch Monitor, offers a Thunderbolt 4 port to help you connect all your peripherals, including the ability to daisy-chain. Additionally, it has Picture-In-Picture mode if you need to view multiple content sources simultaneously.Read F
Loved the review. Bought one and loved it since day one. Whatever I do on it checks out on all other devices. Looks beautiful and the ports in the front are so amazing, I use them all the time. Cheers, keep up the good work!Watch J
This supersedes the similarly named 2023 Dell UltraSharp U3223QE , which currently still costs the same as the U3225QE but is older and has worse specs. So make sure you buy the 2025 edition!Read R
The U3225QE seems like an awesome display, but reading up on PPI and the issues with macOS scaling drives me crazy.Watch P

So we loose in niceness but we gain in the number of hours we can look a the monitor before the suffer EYES STRAIN. This is the whole purpose of the evolution. So now the big question is : did you feel the difference in your eyes , like some do apparently. But your video is the best since you compare directly the two generations. Which is awesome.Watch R
But do you need all these features? And is it worth getting if you don’t?Watch M r/Monitors u/testicularbat · owner
I don't know if I lucked out or not, but my monitor is PERFECT. No coil whine, dead pixels, etc. I'm from Brazil, the monitor was made in China, and its from June 2025. I believe that you should try it out and ultimately, if any of these issues are present, simply return it. It will be better than "wasting" a lot of time thinking and ruminating.Read thread T
But for most people doing multitasking or content work, the 32-in model is the better option because the extra space is the upgrade that actually changes your workflow.Watch R
High native contrast, wide viewing angles and 4k means very good for office work. I think the smearing when gaming only really matters for first person multiplayer shooters? If you play other types of games, especially if not competitively, I think this Dell will do just fine, although I have not tested it myself.Watch R
So, one thing I note here is I don't know if you can see it, but there's like a purple fringe that I see all along here, all around the borders of the screen. It's really all around. I don't know if you can see this very e clearly on the camera. I don't know if it's going to be visible or not. I'm comparing this with my U 3223 QE that I have right here now on the stand.Watch R
I'm satisfied with my purchase, although I think it's a bit overpriced. OLED prices coming down a lot lately. if you can manage to deal with the downsides like burnin. I can't because I'm staring at scripts and word documents many hours a day.Watch
