Ik gebruik de AOC Q27G4ZR nu een tijdje en ben er echt blij mee. Het 27 inch QHD-scherm ziet er superstrak uit en de 180Hz verversingssnelheid (260Hz via displayport) maakt gamen echt vloeiend. Vooral bij snelle shooters merk je het verschil meteen, geen haperingen of ghosting. De kleuren zijn levendig en het contrast is beter dan ik had verwacht in deze prijsklasse.

After spending an extended period of time with the AOC Q27G4ZR, I’ve come to a firm conclusion: For around 192 to 200 euros, this monitor offers one of the best values on the market when it comes to QHD monitors with a 240 Hz refresh rate. The Fast-IPS panel outperforms numerous cheaper VA alternatives in terms of brightness and responsiveness, and both gamers and creatives who also play games will find this to be a well-rounded package. The compromises (narrow color gamut, lack of a USB hub, mediocre HDR, and slight uniformity issues) are acceptable in this price range, and none of them detract from the overall package. For a successor, I’d like to see broader color gamut coverage and more uniform luminance.

AOC is onto a massive winner with the budget friendly Q27G4ZR. As we mentioned earlier, it's one thing having an impressive spec sheet with its 1440p resolution and 260 Hz refresh rate, but the Q27G4ZR backs that up with highly impressive performance. Factory calibration is exceptionally strong for instance with near perfect color balance and gamma tracking out of the box, while the sRGB mode is also well worth using if you want to avoid any over saturation for that color space. On top of that, gaming performance is very good for the money with generally well-tuned overdrive modes alongside official G-Sync compatible certification.

The only thing I do worry, is my uncertainty with AOC monitors. I have a 24g4x, and it broke, FOR THE SECOND TIME, after having it replaced 8 months ago. The thing that happened was the infamous horizontal lines, where the panel burnt out, or broke, and the monitor started twitching and emitting coil whine.

If the spec and price of the AOC Q27G4ZR sound familiar, it certainly has a number of similarities when compared to the Philips Evnia 27M2N3501PA that we reviewed at the end of last year, and it's an almost certainty that both screens are using the same panel.
