The pan motor on the v3 was significantly upgraded from the v2 — no more loud whirring. We could pan the camera at 3 AM next to a sleeping kid without waking them. Motor speed is adjustable (slow/medium/fast) in the Wyze app.Read M
FYI, straight off the bat, I quite like this. If you unscrew that little bottom plate, it has a standard photo thread which is I think a/4 in. So you can screw in uh any sort of photography related accessory like a Manfrotto mounting or quick release plate like that which is nice. The camera is powered on via USB.Watch S
This is the most simple, cheap and awesome camera in existence! I'm a very happy customer, even without paying the small fee it has huge features given for free!Watch S
Okay, first off, I love that they have everything in one nice little package. A lot of Wyze's package before have been really compartmentalized, and stuffing cords and other things back into the box has been so hard in the past. But let's see. Oh, cool. We got stickers. I love some stickers. "I backed the Wyze Cam Pan." So I think these will go onto the actual camera. Get a Quick Start Guide.Watch 9
I actually bought the V3 but I can't find how to make the siren sound! I already press the siren and then the button sound on but it didn't work.Watch S
One of the Cam Pan V3's coolest features is Smart Detection. You can tell the camera to look for specific things like people, familiar faces, pets, vehicles, and packages. AI alerts like these aren't really new, but they are new for Wyze. And a long list like this makes it easy to switch up things based on your need. It also works for common sounds.Watch L
Great review! Awesome tests with the license plate and the distance tests.Watch S
Um so uh highly highly recommend this camera. And I again, I recommend the subscription. The other thing the subscription does is it gives you ability to detect um different types of motion. You can set it so that, you know, it picks up people or pets or whatever and focuses in on those and gives you those kinds of notifications. Otherwise, it'll just give you all motion. But highly highly recommeWatch E

Today I'm talking about the Wisecam V3 Renewed two pack. These compact indooroutdoor cameras deliver 1080p HD video with color night vision, two-way audio, and compatibility with Alexa, Google Assistant, and if all of this at a price that onet break the bank. Here is what makes the Wisecam V3 stand out. First, it offers crystalclear 1080p video.Watch O

Wyze locks essential features behind a paid subscription that you can’t fully turn off. Their cameras have a 5-minute cooldown after detecting motion, which causes them to miss a lot of important events. Without a subscription, the camera only detects basic motion—it can’t identify objects or store recordings unless you pay extra.Watch S
After testing these cameras side by side for several weeks, I'll go ahead and tell you that the Pro is a slightly better choice, but the standard v3 still holds its own against this new version. In fact, there are some things that it even does better. Join me as I take a closer look at the similarities and differences between the Wyze Cam v3 and the Wyze Cam v3 Pro. Let's go.Watch S
While it’s not the crispest sound I’ve encountered in my testing, the two-way audio feature works well enough for practical purposes. Whether you’re checking in on pets, greeting delivery drivers, or telling your cat to get off the kitchen counter (again), the audio gets the job done without any major issues.Read S
But, as you can tell from my introduction, the audio on this camera is pretty fuzzy. You can make out words and even have a conversation, but it's certainly not high quality. The speaker is about 80 decibels, which is loud enough to catch someone's attention, but maybe not loud enough to scare anyone off. This is what the Wyze Cam v3 sounds like.Watch S
Alexa won’t contact the monitoring center on your behalf in case of an emergency, and it won’t give you battery life updates for Wyze’s sensors.Read S
V3 records in 1080, full HD, which is more than enough for basic monitoring. You'll clearly see people, pets, and movement around your home. But the Panvi 4 steps things up in a big way. It delivers 4K ultra HD at 20 frames per second or 2.5K at 25 frames per second for smoother motion.Watch P
I’m having problems with getting notifications and person detection does not work well.Watch

I have 2 Cam Pan v3 and the most recent firmware screwed it up. Both of mine work for 12-24 hours then start to degrade in service. The will freeze or show pixelated images. 1 of them also wont read the micro sd card and keeps popoing up an error of unsupported card,, tells me to format but then says no sd card. All was fine on both prior to the update.Read thread B

My WYZE V3 camera has become almost useless since the latest firmware update. This WYZE update has practically disabled the normal use of the camera. WYZE wants our money and. our cameras, our memory cards and our files are out of reach unless we buy WYZE cloud services.View post L
Competitively it’s fairly reasonable but I think many loyal Wyze customers will feel like the rug is being pulled when they buy a new camera and find it won’t work the way the prior ones did without coughing up a few more bucks on an ongoing basis.Read F Facebook Tyrone Parker · owner
The latest V3 update killed functionality to view the cameras in Google Home App and older version of the Wyze App on my Firesticks, so now I am forced to attempt to flash the firmware back to the last version on my V3's.View post W r/wyzecam u/thats_no_wallaby · owner
I have had nearly identical experience with these Pan v3 cameras. Others models like floodlight, cam V3, doorbell 2 have worked great. Battery Cam Pro have had similar issues as well.Read thread W r/wyzecam u/IAmSixNine · owner
