The Uficam S3 Pro is a premium outdoor security camera with real local storage via the included Homebase 3, strong ondevice smart detection and full integration with Apple Home and HomeKit secure video. Most of my reviews are done over 2 to 6 weeks of use. However, this review is different. I've been using the S3 Pro system for over a year. Well, in fact, it's 400 days to be precise.

Overall, a very modern, tidy, and well-designed camera, which I like a lot and a lot more so than the S230. The home base. Well, it's a cute little box. I imagined it being bigger because it needed space for a hard drive and a circuit board, etc. A bit like a Naz drive, but it's a lot smaller, a lot more discreet, and quieter as well.

But what I can do is deter them with the S3 Pro system from Yippy. I am a total novice when it comes to home security. And to be honest, part of the reason I've never thought about getting a security system before is I thought you had to wire it up to your house, which I would have no idea what I was doing. But this system from Yui is completely solar powered.

If your driveway, side yard, or porch sits in deep dark, Pro earns its keep. If your setup is already lit, and you just want solid coverage with no monthly fee, the S330 holds its own. Both linked below. Night vision first, because that's the whole reason this comparison exists. The S3 Pro runs max color vision on a 4K sensor, and the point is simple.

Overall, this category is considered one of the most user-friendly premium security solutions available today. One of the biggest strengths is the wireless solar-powered design. This allows each camera to operate independently without frequent battery removal or wired installation, making it significantly easier to deploy across large properties.

Seems after an update, Eufy decided to cut the resolution down to 1080p in you have your s3 pro set to record 24/7. I don't know the reasoning behind it, but it feels like if you turn on one feature, you loose the ability to use another. These cameras cost too much not to be able to use them at their full potential in my opinion. If anyone knows a work around, feel free to let me know please.

However, there were a few hiccups along the way. While the system performs well during the day, I did notice a slight lag when accessing the live feed remotely, especially in areas with weaker Wi-Fi signals. This delay isn't a deal breakaker, but it's something to keep in mind if you're relying on realtime monitoring.

I currently have the Homebase 3 with the S330 cams and I haven't been too impressed. My dog could be out in the garden (which my camera has full coverage of) and I'll get a notification every 60 seconds (which is the max length of the clip).

These 2 camera sets have been on my radar for a while. I waited on the S3 Pro to see the G5 lineup. Now seeing all of the drawbacks on the G5, I'm more inclined to go S3 Pro.

I have seen a huge 50/50 mix on them
