The Silver 100 8G also demonstrates some of the ongoing evolution Monitor Audio has been undertaking over the last few years. This is an impressively refined speaker that manages to produce a detailed, energetic top end that avoids tipping over into harshness even when you play grim music at high levels. This is an impressively worked balancing act, and it allows the Silver 100 8G to be something you want to use all the time.Read S Sound Advice: hi-fi, TV and home cinema reviews Sound Advice: hi-fi, TV and home cinema reviews · 14.9K subscribers · Aug 2026

My glowing memory of the Monitor Audio Silver 100 7G, boy, that's really long name. But, my memory of it is in line with my current day experience of this speaker. It is absolutely wonderful. I love it to deathWatch A
But, if I'm going straight two channel, especially because I'd probably put them on my DJ shelf, I would go silver 100 cuz you get the 8-in, the 3-in, and then the tweeter and that looks like the perfect speaker.Watch
