I've just wall mounted a pair of KEF LSX IIs and I'm blown away by the improvement. I know it's disingenuous pitching one 5 against two KEFs but the sound quality difference is stark. Additionally, due to the large number of inputs on the KEF, I've been able to connect it to my PC and my TV in the room. Another connectivity option, missing on the Sonos, is Bluetooth.

Happy to endorse LSX II in my 1970s built 3-bed semi. Never turned up above 60 - it has loads of headroom. After trying them all, Qobuz is the best matched streaming service with these speakers. I do have the pair connected by cable. These sound every bit as good as my Linn Series 3 and are a whole lot more reliable!

Great speakers. We use them for our TV listening in a small room. Just don't expect them to work with the HDMI input for your Sony TV. Even their tech support admits they have an issue there.

Let's dig a little further into it. The LSX II in terms of connectivity will connect to almost any service or platform, Spotify, Tidal, Chromecast, Apple AirPlay 2. For its size, the LSX II sounds remarkably clean and detailed. Vocals sit front and center, treble is crisp and never ever sharp. Stereo imaging is superb, especially up close with some near-field listening. Bass is tight and controlled rather than all-out big. Physics is still physics, it's a small cabinet, but it never feels boomy. There's also sub with output if you want a little extra low end.

Overall: The KEF LSX II are a true lifestyle speaker meant for the simplicity desired by plug -in & play owner. The KEF Connect app deserves an award for its powerful, user-friendly capability. Since a few days I am experiencing connectivity issues between my wifi network and my KEF LSX II speakers, this following a simple password change which suppose reconfiguring the connection with the speakers. I followed the constructor instructions, then the technical support instructions and finally Reddit's comments advices all of these without success.

Use the USB input on the primary speaker for the cleanest connection, then pick the KEF LSX II as the output device in your computer's sound settings. If the USB port is in use, an optical cable from the computer or its dock works too, and the speakers also appear as a wireless output over the network or Bluetooth. Set the PC volume to maximum and control the level from the KEF app or remote so the speakers receive a full-scale signal.
