Personally, I do have to say that these knobs are almost entirely unnecessary. It's not necessarily a bad thing - I mean - it doesn't really take away from the speaker design as a whole, but it is rather pointless once you've already set your EQ balance settings and especially since you could already do that from right within the JBL companion app. The volume knob - that I understand.

Of course, both sound good, but the JBL Authentics 500 is best suited for home use, but unfortunately it does not have an HDMI cable for connecting to a smart TV. While the JBL Partybox 320 is best suited for outdoor parties , picnics, the pool, and taking it with you anywhere because it has wheels on the bottom. It has a handle, so it's great for traveling. I really like the way it sounds, but if I had to choose, I would definitely choose the JBL Partybox 320 because it's portable, much louder, has a backlight, and is much more versatile
