Google Nest Audio

Google's Nest Audio smart speaker is fast, sounds great for the size, and offers a lot of value for the money.

On your Google Home app, depending on what else you have set up to it, um it's going to appear as Brenda's Nest audio for me specifically. So, obviously you can control the volume on the app. Um, you can also go into your device settings, um, and tinker around with the bass and the treble. So, what's really nice is that you really don't have to think about these touch controls at all.

The Google Nest Audio is the latest voice-activated speaker from Google. It does all the great things the original Google Home could do, but this time with 50% more bass and 75% more volume!

All right, so those are all the positive and negative things I found while using the Nest Audio over the long term, so do I ultimately recommend getting one? Yes, absolutely. It's the best sounding smart speaker in Google's lineup to date and for a hundred bucks, often on sale for $79 US dollars, I absolutely think it's worth it at those prices.

So where would i rank the Nest Audio sound? So far in my testing i'd say that the Nest Audio is the second best sounding smart speaker from Google right behind the Google Home Max, but the Google Home Max still offers superior sound, better separation, more detail, and a deeper, richer, and more powerful bass. But i think at $99, the Nest Audio is a no-brainer for anyone wanting a better sounding Google Assistant smart speaker or an upgrade for their existing Google Home speaker

In my opinion, this speaker is at least three times louder than the Nest Mini. So, if you need a better audio source, this is worth the $99 to upgrade because it is part of the Made by Google setup

The all-new Nest Audio features a 75mm woofer and 19mm tweeter, as well as three far-field microphones for picking up commands or phone calls. There is also a hardware switch to mute the microphone. So, how does it sound? Impressive

The Google Nest Audio and the Google Home app have been optimized to the point that setup is easier than ever before. In fact, we're going to show you just how easy it is in the video, right after we give you the full unboxing experience

The Google Nest Audio smart speaker, an upgraded home model fresh for 2020, offering the best music quality of any of Google's line-up. I setup and test the Nest Audio, with a closer look at the sound quality as well as that Assistant functionality.

To simply describe the Nest Audio's sound, it's clean, wide, and bassy

And at the end of the day, the Google Nest Audio succeeds because it does not try to overcomplicate things. It focuses on sounding good and responsibly and responding quickly, integrating naturally into your home, and making everyday tasks easier. And that combination is exactly why it continues to be one of the most practical smart speakers for people who want a reliable performance without spending a fortune

Today I will be unboxing and showing y'all my new Nest Audio speaker! It is an affordable speaker option and it has one of the best audio capabilities I have heard. The colors are stunning and there is one for everyone!

While the Nest Audio is still a serviceable piece of hardware in 2025, it’s more than due for a refresh.
