Overall, I am satisfied with my purchase of the iPhone 17. I don’t think it’s perfect, but I can say that it is one of the phones with the best value right now. My next plan is to try and immerse myself in the Apple ecosystem and see if it suits my personal taste.

The only hesitation is that from the front, you can kind of see the green, which to me is a little distracting, but I don't think most people will care. In the box, are keeping things simple. We've got a cable and literally just one slip of paper now saying you no longer need a physical SIM. Let's see how long this cable is. Apple is kind of notorious for making incremental updates year to year, so depending on what phone you're coming from, you might be thinking to yourself that the iPhone 17 may be a bit overhyped. This is especially true by just taking a cursory look at the outside of the phone as it looks to be a near clone of the iPhone 16, which doesn't exactly scream big upgrade upon first glance.

I want to start with what's pretty much exactly the same between the iPhone 17 and iPhone 17e. Apple didn't cheap out on the performance for the 17e. Both phones run the same A19 processor, so everyday app usage feels basically identical. Having the same chip also probably plays a role in these phones having similar battery lives.

Apple moved away from titanium to a unibody aluminum. A lot of people called it a downgrade, and yeah, holding it next to a 16 Pro, the titanium feels a bit denser. But, the Pro's new camera plateau instead of the old bump, I love it. It looks futuristic. Plus, the edges are even more rounded.

Also, the display has changed drastically from 6.1 in to 6.3 in. iPhone 16. The bezels are much slimmer on this particular phone. I have no clue. 16 iPhone 16. foreign slimmer and weight.
