And that rounding does make it noticeably more comfortable to hold if you don't use a case because these corners do kind of dig into your hand a bit if you hold this for a while. Samsung’s latest fleet of premium devices offers a unified design and a higher price, with the flagship model upping the ante when it comes to privacy.

I can consistently get about 1 and 1/2 to 2 full days of battery life. So, about 46 to 47 hours of battery life with this between charge cycles, and that is really impressive. Now, to get that full 2 days of battery life, it's typically when I'm on Wi-Fi all day, and I'm not driving around all over the place using GPS or cell service or anything like that.

Is our deal on the new Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra the best in the universe? We think so.

Guys, I really really love my Galaxy S26 Ultra. I'm sure you know, I used to be a full-time Pixel user, but with the Pixel 10, I was just a little bit bored. There wasn't much new. This is the case with the S26 Ultra in my experience. I ran into super minimal bugs to a point I can't even remember any of them. I usually take notes when I run into issues. This way, when I make these videos, I can tell you about these problems. But, the only software problems that I've noted are just simple glitches that I either never saw again or got fixed pretty quick. So, this is good.

The back is also in great condition. The cameras don't really have any visible scratches, although everything looks a little more rough when we look at them with a macro lens, so there's that. The buttons are also working fine. They all work like brand new buttons, so we're good there as well.

The writing experience is still very good, and ultimately, it's still a nice selling point for the Ultra. No Bluetooth sucks, but it is what it is. The highlight feature this year is the privacy display. It's a toggle that limits the screen's viewing angles, so people sitting next to you can't see what's on your display. The phone is a bit thinner giant camera rings are gone, but they added a camera platform stage thingy for the cameras to sit on. Very similar to what the Z Fold 7 has and yeah, it Yeah, the phone is Qi 2.2 ready, which is nice. It's good for 25 W wireless charging up from the 15 W we got last year, so that's a nice jump. But yet again, no Qi 2 magnets and yet again, I'm disappointed.

Starting off with the design, honestly, I love this new rounded corner design. It's a lot more comfortable to hold in hand. And due to the use of aluminum, this phone is lightweight, too. Especially after coming from Galaxy S25 Ultra, it is noticeable. Seeing the upcoming iPhone 18 Pro Max getting heavier and thicker, Galaxy S26 Ultra will feel a lot lighter and easier to use with one hand.
