The biggest sensor combined with this new triple AI chip and the ability to shoot in this pure video mode, even at the maximum 8K resolution, it means that while normally I would never have felt comfortable shooting in lower light or at night like this, now it looks pretty good. I can use this.

New to the Insta360 product line and I have an X5 with assorted accessories; it's awesome! If you're new to videography and editing, yes, there will be a steep learning curve. However, if you take the time to learn, the camera is an awesome tool.

For me, this is the best upgrade Insta 360 has made because this has always been a problem for me. I still have to go somewhere just to change lenses. But now it's very easy. In my opinion, there is no real comparison here. The X5 is the clear winner. And if you are planning on capturing low light videos in the future, maybe you have an upcoming trip, the X5 is the camera to get. It's like having a GoPro and expect your low light videos to look amazing. Though the X4 is actually usable in low light. It's just that the X5 is much better.

So, reason number one is going to be the outstanding image quality that comes from the X5 here in both daylight and low light, which has been slightly approved over the last couple of 3 months, I would say, especially after the last firmware update, which made some tweaks to the image and added some stability and basically fixed some bugs.

Not only that, the build feels noticeably more robust than previous models. The X4 felt great in the hand, but the X5 feels that much better. Apparently, it's got a magnesium alloy body now, which makes it more durable and probably gives it a little bit more weight in the hand. Insta 360 has also added the brand new removable lens system, which is something a lot of users asked for.

For the best image quality, always shoot in 8K. But if you want to shoot slow motion, then you must shoot in 5.7K and change the frame rate to 60 frames pers. And this will give you 50% speed. But also, you can choose 5.7K plus if your phone is struggling with the larger files. 5.7K plus will give you smaller files and better battery life and give you better image quality than using just 5.7K.

I have owned an X5 and I don't see enough to justify the X6. The one thing which really annoys me is the deliberate move to exclude third party Mic compatibility and try and rattle your wallet for more accessories.

Until the latest firmware update, pure video mode was only available when shooting in 360 video. But after the firmware, you can now use it while shooting in single lens mode, which lets you use the camera to shoot non- 360 video, which makes for faste
