At $69, the CMF Buds 2 Plus delivers sound quality and ANC performance that genuinely competes with earbuds costing twice as much. The MDAQS Overall score of 4.8 out of 5 matches the Sony WF-1000XM6, an extraordinary result for the price. ANC reduces outside noise by an average of 83%, LDAC is available through the Nothing X app, and battery life hit 10 hours and 22 minutes in our testing, with a full 60 hours from the case.

Reviewing Nothing's CMF Buds 2 Plus and regular earbuds, which cost £49 and £39 in the UK. These true wireless earbuds are the best budget options I've tested in 2025, especially the Nothing CMF Buds 2 Plus. From the personalised sound and decent ANC to their impressive battery life, these Bluetooth blasters are excellent. It's only the cheap design and iffy touch controls that detract from a perfect budget package

After testing out the CMF Buds 2 Plus earbuds, I can attest that you can get great audio at an affordable price... and in my opinion, their ANC performance rivals the Apple AirPods Pro 3.

The Buds 2 Plus do a really good job in calls and anytime I was on the phone, the other person had no problem hearing me. I'm actually glad that CMF spent the time and the resources into something like this because it's often overlooked in the budget categories
