In summary, the Audio-Technica AT-LP60X-BK Fully Automatic Belt-Drive Stereo Turntable is a fantastic entry-level option for anyone new to vinyl or those wanting a straightforward, affordable way to enjoy their records. Its automatic operation, solid design, and respectable sound quality make it a standout in its price bracket.Read A
In the world of entry-level turntables, I don’t think you can get a sound quality as clear and immersive as the one offered by the AT-LP60X. Yes, you can spend five times more and get the exceptional Rega Planar 2, but we’re talking about a completely different league here.Read

🎶 Super love this one! I’m still a beginner when it comes to collecting vinyl, so personally, I think this is such a great entry-level turntable! Audio-Technica have a really good reputation for building affordable but great-sounding turntablesWatch V
The AT-LP60X is the turntable I recommended more than any other during six years at a record store in Chicago. Not because it is the best turntable available. It is not even close. But because it is the right answer for a specific person at a specific moment: someone who has records and wants to hear them without spending a lot of money or learning a new skill first. At approximately $179, it does everything a first turntable needs to do and nothing it does not. Whether that is enough depends entirely on who you are.Read D
It's very affordable. It's very easy to use.Watch I
For beginners with a budget of no more than 200 Euro, the clear recommendation is the Audio-Technica AT-LP60X. This turntable features an automated tonearm, a modern MM cartridge (no ceramic), a built-in phono preamp, and connects directly to any stereo system or active speakers. It spares your records, offers solid build quality, and will last you five years. It may not have retro charm, but your vinyl stays on the shelf—not the turntable itself.Read D
So I decided. I invested a little more and bought this Audio-Technic one, which is an entry-level model but already a very high- quality product.Watch F Facebook AudioTechnicaUSA
The AT-LP60XBT is the #1 best-selling turntable in the U.S., making it a favorite choice for those beginning their vinyl journey. With fully automatic operation, a built-in Dual Magnet™ cartridge, and Bluetooth® wireless connectivity, the AT-LP60XBT gives listeners the flexibility to enjoy records their way. Pair it with wireless speakers, headphones, or use a traditional wired connection for a seamless setup that brings your collection to life.View post T
At $99 for the base model and plug-and-play usability, the LP60 is Turntable Lab's most popular entry-level turntable. The AT-LP60X offers several key improvements. The newly designed tonearm promises better tracking and reduced resonance. Also, the redesigned finger lift makes manually cueing easier. The new external AC adapter lowers the possibility of interference that comes with the AC-DC conversion being done inside the turntable body. The AT-LP60 now features a removable output cable. Notice that the RCA output has been replaced by an eighth-inch stereo output. An eighth-inch RCA Y cable is included. The exterior has been completely redesigned. It features a more specialized look with a reshaped body and dust cover. The LP60X retains the LP60's most popular features.Watch E
The Audio-Technica AT-LP60X is a good turntable that happens to be priced affordably. If you're new to vinyl and want to start playing records without a crash course in turntable setup, it's the right choice. If you're a returning collector who needs a second table for a different room, it does the job. If you're buying a gift for someone who just discovered a box of their parents' records, it's perfect.Read R
If you're looking for an affordable, stylish, and user-friendly turntable that doesn't cut corners on audio quality, this might just be one of the best options out there. Check out the video description for updated price.Watch B
My top pick for most needs is the Audio-Technica AT-LP60X . This simple, standalone turntable pairs reliable components with fully automatic operation, making it an excellent choice for people new to vinyl. If you're shopping on an even tighter budget and want a record player with built-in speakers, the Victrola Eastwood II is one of the few options under $150 that I still recommend.Read T
For the price, the fidelity is perfectly respectable. It is not going to blow the doors off a $5,000 vintage setup, but it sounds clear, balanced, and warm. I tested the Bluetooth connectivity quite a bit, and while it is convenient to pair this with a decent set of bookshelf speakers across the room, you have to remember that you're essentially taking an analog format and converting it into a compressed digital signal.Watch C
After extensive testing, I found the Audio-Technica AT-LP60X to be a one-stop shop for budding enthusiasts with fully automatic operation and defeatable preamp. The latter means it offers is a basic upgrade path as the phono output allows you to add your own preamp. This AT-LP60X is a great value and comes in black with three finish options: solid black, silver or brown.Read T
Overall, if you're searching for a fully automatic belt-drive turntable that supports 33 and 45 revolutions per minute records and keeps vinyl playback simple, the Audio-Technica AT-LP60X GM is a fantastic place to start.Watch W Why is the AT-LP60X a popular first turntable? Facebook post
The star of this week's Saturday Spin, the AT-LP60X, is designed with beginners in mind, playing both 33-1/3 and 45 RPM records and featuring a built-in switchable phono preamp for easy connection to home stereos, powered speakers, and more.View post N
For anyone buying their first turntable, that kind of convenience makes the entire experience much more approachable. It supports both 33 and 1/3 and 45 revolutions per minute records, covering the two standard speeds you'll encounter with LPs and singles. There's also a 45 revolutions per minute adapter included for records with larger center holes. So, whether you're listening to a full album or a classic 7-in single, switching between formats is straightforward. Underneath, Audio-Technica uses a DC servo controlled motor and a belt-drive system. The belt-drive design helps isolate the platter from motor vibration, while the anti-resonance die-cast aluminum platter provides a stable platform for your records.Watch S
Let’s be real: the AT-LP60X isn’t built to impress the golden-eared crowd — and it doesn’t need to. What it delivers is balanced, natural, and surprisingly full-bodied sound that’s miles ahead of streaming MP3s from your phone.Read B
Common themes in positive reviews include the turntable's budget-friendly price, good sound quality, and easy setup process that doesn't require you to be tech-savvy.Read R

The fixed cartridge and integrated automatic mechanism limit its upgrade and restoration potential. So, its place in the ranking therefore reflects the survey results, not an equal level of serviceability compared with the heavily supported vintage and high-end decks elsewhere on the list.Read F
If you are a serious audiophile looking for a wide sound stage and floor-shaking low end, you're going to be disappointed with this bundle out of the box. Build quality is where you really feel the price point. The turntable is mostly plastic, and it is very lightweight. While the die-cast aluminum platter is a nice touch for stability, the whole unit feels a bit hollow. It is not necessarily fragile, but it is not something you're going to pass down to your grandkids. I also found that because it is so light, it is sensitive to vibrations.Watch G
The advantage of an automatic turntable is that it makes vinyl listening easy. The downside? It takes away a little of the analog fun because you don’t have to pay as close attention to the record you’re playing.Read A
Other lesser turntables like the Audio-Techica AT-LP60x and the AT-LP70x are still good turntables, but they are beginner Turntables. At some point if you get serious about Vinyl, you will want to upgrade them.Read R
The LP60x works, but it definitely looks like a starter record player. The LP70x looks like Audio-Technica tried to make the starter record player feel a little more grown up.Read T r/turntables u/Grouchy_Leg2455 · owner
It's the most basic passable turntable. You'll eventually complain about it, then get another turntable that is only a baby step above it.Read thread
