While I highly recommend the larger 3,840Wh standard F3800 and F3800 Plus power stations or the most expandable E10 whole-home backup system for the best long-term home/mobile living support, the Anker SOLIX F3000 power station is an equally capable option with expandable capabilities. The base setup starts at a 3,072Wh LiFePO4 battery capacity that you can scale as high as 24kWh.

This portable power station definitely checks all the boxes!

The brilliance of Anker with the 3000 is the ability to use ALL forms of charging at the same time. The unit is self regulating, making it perfect for the novice. Anker knocked this one out of the park! Oh, it's true pass through power, imagine 3600 watts in and out simultaneously! One important note to consider, in this industry people buy these units and never use them!

Now, what's cool about this is that this is actually a pretty small package and it can still take in a pretty significant amount of solar. So, our goal today is to max out the solar PV input on this as much as we possibly can. We've got a 6 kW array. This is 12 550 watt panels. And I'm gonna show you the best way to connect these to the F3000.

I plan to buy the F3000 because of its ability to power my RV at 30a while being charged at 30a from the campsite power pole. This passthrough feature will keep my RV powered if campground power is lost. This is especially important when there is a pet inside on a hot day and the A/C needs to stay on. So but by itself this is a beast. So this is rated for 372 watt hours. It does have battery expansion capability. As you can see here it's got a TT30 or RV30 uh 120 volt plug. And this will give you the full 30 amps because this is a 3600 watt output uh AC pure sine wave inverter. Now you can get up to 2400 watts out of the threeprong outlets because these are 20 amps.

Got the exact setup but with 200w panels still waiting for my 2nd f3000 but it’s already shaving 30-50% of my daily usage. I’m hoping they increase the amperage a little bit on the low PV input to 1200 W with a firmware update.

Anker managed to pack over 3 KW hours of storage capacity into the compact Solex F3000, and that’s a huge accomplishment. Thanks to its LFP chemistry, Anker expects it to support 4,000 charge cycles.

They designed this to basically be like the best essential home backup power station you can get because not only is it extremely efficient, like twice as efficient as most power stations, like while idling and standby and stuff, but also they designed it for like RV life with a 30 amp RV plug. They got the Anderson plug here to run like high DC loads.

It is a large battery with a lot of output, very fast charging, and just enough portability to move around without feeling stuck with it in one place. It is not light. I felt that right away.
