I just purchased the delta pro 3 about 2 months ago and I’m big on contingencies so this is an awesome right hand to my portable whole home dial fuel generator. Also you’re a great friend for helping out your buddy like that. 👍🏿💪🏿✊🏿. Even though I have the ford F-150 powerboost with the built in 7.2 generator I’m still gonna get the EcoFlow set up for the 50 amp house plug I have installed.

This is by far the best one for over landing or small trailer in my opinion. it has the ability to run a small wielder, it has the ability to run all my 12v things in my trailer and when i get home i plug it in to the home kit and gain that extra capacity. the other thing that is nice is you can run this with out really needed any panels on a trailer as well since the new alternator charger.

I looked at the Anker but decided to go with The Ecoflow Delta Pro 3. It’s just a better unit all around. Especially where it matters. It’s cheaper, more life cycles, better form factor, it’s lighter, more powerful solar charging, faster UPS, plus all of the other advantages mentioned here. I’m going to use it as a back up power for my house, as well as camping and bug out.

I'll use the Delta 2 for that and will put in a Delta 3 Pro to replace it. The Delta 2 has no history records, so I have to regularly look at the app or screen to observe the solar input and battery level. I also have a Delta Pro Ultra as a UPS for 2 freezers and a refrigerator, all AC. Its solar panels are not enough, so I charge at night with discounted electricity.

I just got an Ecoflow Delta Pro 3 so I can level 2 charge my car at an off-grid workshop. I already have a Bluetti AC200MAX with two extra batteries, 8kwh plus 4kwh in the Delta Pro 3. So far I can charge for about 2.5 hrs max while pulling power via a standard outlet plug from the Bluetti.

I really do like this unit. The price point is up there and is definitely something that you'd have to think about. But that is going to be your main issue is is if you want to pay the price, but if you do, you're not going to have to worry about getting a piece of junk or getting something that you're not sure who the company is. Cannot say enough about the dp3. I will be saving up for an extra battery and i just upgraded my genny to 240v and bought the ecoflow 240v charge cord. So i can charge in 70 mins at 3400w!

Again, no problem. 3600 watts. Let's leave it here. That's a good place to see if it can charge the battery. Okay, so it's charging at 3.5 kW. And the battery in the EcoFlow says it'll be depleted in an hour.

Um, great value here on the Delta Pro 3. And this will offset your electricity bill. Either one paired with a couple 400 watt solar panels is going to be a great option for whole house backup. It'll automatically switch over if you lose grid power. But the other nice thing about the new Delta Pro 3 Ultra is that it's incredibly lightweight, about 30 lbs lighter.

It's basically a big battery in a rolling box that can run normal household stuff when the power goes out or keep things going when you're off-grid. If you only need to top off a phone or run a laptop for a couple hours, this is way more than you need.

I own one and it has been excellent and paired it with a D2M EB.

We liked the compact design, front-facing ports, quiet operation, solid efficiency, and easy readability outdoors. But you’ll want to know the trade-offs: fewer ports, no 12V car socket or built-in light, and a very basic app. We compare it with the Delta 3 Plus/Max and suggest who should buy it (light home backup, basic camping/tailgating) — plus when a Pecron E1000 might be the better value.

The only thing I find is that my Delta Pro 3 won't recognize my solar panels unless I unplug them, turn the Delta Pro 3 on and wait for it to connect to Bluetooth. Then I can plug in my solar panels and have the Delta Pro 3 recognize them and start charging. Also, with every update, I've had to turn off the Delta Pro 3, unplug the solar panels, and then restart and reconnect the solar panels.

I continue to debate whether to get this unit or the DPU. There are a few scary reviews about each unit but many positive ones. It may not be as important as I imagine, but the inability to run 120 and 240 at the same time keeps pushing me towards the DPU, realizing that portability is obviously on the side of the DP3. A 7kw inverter also is quite a bit more powerful.

I just bought the delta 3 ultra with the 30 amp connection. Power went out the other day and it easily powered my entire apartment but I bought it for that 30 amp because I'm going to be getting a van. It's pretty cool. I have a river 2 and a small bluetti as well. But I had no problem powering the refrigerator and that was my biggest concern Mines on wheels.

This is a terrible choice. Super expensive per kw output and kwh storage. The real issue is that archaic sub-panel, and super expensive rewiring. I'm going to call you a hypocrite! I think stated that EG4 should have made a gateway /grid interconnect device, as that's the best solution architecture.
