Our verdict The LV600S is one of the most powerful humidifiers we've ever tested, able to increase the relative humidity in a small room by about 24% over the course of two hours. The Levoit OasisMist 450S Smart Humidifier claims the top spot for several reasons: top-tier humidification performance, competitive pricing. For a budget pick, we love the Dreo HM311. The Dreo HM311 is the best for an entry-level humidifier. Compact, inexpensive, and still delivers reliable humidity for most bedrooms. The Blueair H35i is a solid choice for those who want an evaporative unit that’s easy to clean and runs quietly. After testing almost 30 humidifiers in our homes and talking to experts, the Honeywell Designer Series Cool Mist Humidifier is our top pick. Firmware issues and weak support make it a risky long-term investment. The Vornado EVDC500 offers a good balance of performance, quiet operation and easy maintenance. The value pick for genuinely large rooms; nothing else covers this much space for the money. Pricey relative to pure humidifiers, with limited coverage area. High maintenance and inconsistent performance make it a poor choice for most buyers. Inconsistent build quality and short warranty period make it a poor long-term choice. Premium price does not justify the frequent filter failures and limited warranty. Small tank and noisy; better options are available.
