Erin, you nailed the reason for the design of the Super Denton - it is directly aimed at someone who wants the character and musicality of Linton but doesn't have room for a large speaker. Like Linton, Super Denton will play any genre of music and will draw you into the music and give you that emotional connection with the performance which is the key to enjoyable listening.Watch A
Wharfedale Super Denton Review: The Ultimate CLASSIC SOUND!Watch E
The Wharfedale Super Denton is unique because it combines a genuine three way design, excellent cabinet work, and the ability to scale with far better electronics without annexing the living room. It sounds substantial, tonally rich, spacious, and considerably more capable than its size or price would suggest.Read A

The Super Denton thrives on proper setup: keep the midrange domes on the inside, space them at least six feet apart, and toe them in toward your seat. Do that and you’ll get sharper imaging, cleaner midrange, and treble that stays refined without going brittle.Read P Post76影音玩樂網 Post76影音玩樂網 · 146K subscribers · Sept 2025
Today, I'm bringing you a very affordable yet high-quality sound combination: the Creek Audio 4040 A integrated amplifier and Wharfedale SUPER DENTON bookshelf speakers. It 's a three-way system. This combination is very compact and exquisite, suitable for use on a desk or in the living room. Even in a 200-square-foot living room, its sound energy is sufficient to fill the space.Watch A
It uses the same exact drivers as in the Super Denton, same 3-way design. This is going to be fine for most people in living room who has Super Denton´s already as front mains for 2.x system and are looking to expand it for surround setup.Read T
And these speakers, the Super Denton, certainly have a personality of their own. It's what you would expect from a UK company that's been building speakers for over 90 years. It's all about uh a thatched roof cottage taking the chill off in front of the fire with a cup of me on a drizzly damp English afternoon. In other words, it's all about giving the music this sort of warm, cozy feeling.Watch A

The “Super Denton” was a big upgrade, with 3-way design of the original Denton 3, adding a dedicated dome midrange driver for better vocal clarity.Read T
The premium cast chassis 6.5” (165mm) bass unit is tuned to the cabinet for bass extension down to 40Hz, below the fundamental ‘E1’ tuning of a standard bass guitar – impressive for a speaker of the SUPER DENTON’s compact dimensions. This driver handles bass and lower-midrange frequencies with engaging definition and expression, bringing instruments and voices to life – astonishing for a loudspeaker of this sizeWatch A

Wharfedale returns with another banger in its heritage line, the Super Denton. More than just a small upgrade, the Super Denton brings a much more refined and balanced sound to the table while retaining that same gorgeous heritage aesthetic. Let's have a closer listen.Watch L
I like the highs of the Superdenton, the mids of the Evo, and the bass of the Polk R200.Watch H
Um, we've introduced a version of that into the Denton to create the Super Denton. And the three-way gives us the usual advantage of a three-way in that you have mid-range and treble unsudded by bass frequencies. Now what I mean by that is that uh for bass frequencies you are wanting a large diaphragm movement especially from a smaller speaker and this has an effect upon the detailing and accuracy and tambber of the mid-range. So by separating that out into a separate unit, we can extract a what I think a more vibrant and more enticing and more detailed output from Denton.Watch D

Super Denton doesn't have a very punchy that hits the chest which is disappointing and now I have to buy a subwoofer 700-800 €.Mali kabinet zato je bas na 52 Hz.It's great for close listening.Mozda S.Denton prodam i kupim Evo 5.2Frequency response (+/-3dB): 44Hz – 24kHz I listened to them at a friend's house and they have a strong blow to the chest in a room of 20 squares.Watch A
I’m shocked the supers sounded so lean. It’s dark and feels like mono on some these tracks because it lacked any spark and seemed dry. Not to my taste as I enjoy more musicality and a little sparkle. I wish the 85s had the aesthetics of the Supers, IMO the supers loom the best but sound the worst.Watch H
LOL.People have no clue that extending the cabinet out past the front baffle causes all kinds of diffraction issues. Dumb design in that respect, though it's clearly obvious that Comaeu is trying to keep the past "alive" with the Denton name.Watch A r/audiophile u/francisfaustino · owner
