The ELAC Debut 2.0 B6.2 is the better-sounding option. Reasonably flat on-axis and listening-window response with reasonably even horizontal directivity, holding about ±60° up to roughly 8kHz for consistent stereo width whether aimed directly at the listener or toed out. The tradeoff: A good size resonant peak around 700Hz stands out from an otherwise smooth response and lingers in cumulative spectral decay (waterfall) measurements: in one reviewer’s sighted A/B test, reducing it by about 5dB via EQ made a noticeable but not dramatic difference.Read C
We love the ELAC Debut 2.0 B6.2 bookshelf speakers, and our customers do, too. They are fairly compact, yet punch way above their weight with big, crystal-clear sound. Our customers love using them in 2-channel setups, but they're great as part of a surround system as well. For the money, these are hard to beat and sound like they cost a lot more.Watch W
The bigger cabinets, aided by that sizeable reflex port, predictably offer a good deal more bass weight than the B5.2, but they still refuse to overstretch. They deliver an open and balanced sound that can reach high and deliver ample bass without issue. The B6.2 sound rhythmic and punchy, with plenty of weight but stay nimble with it. They take what we loved about their Award-winning siblings and build on it with an even fuller-bodied and more mature presentation. And for that, we commend them.Read G Gadget Jungle Pro Gadget Jungle Pro · 6K subscribers · Oct 2021
ELAC Debut 2.0 B6.2 - Is One Of The Best Bookshelf Speakers Of 2022!Watch M
Watch T
unlike the original B6 the b6.2 sound great with my Ragnarok so that's what I use when I compared it to the KF ls50s for tri of the pass by subtract the b6.Watch C
Another great video. I own the originals and have zero doubt Andrew made the .2s better in every way possible. That said the BB8 look of the beauty rings, inverted dust cap on the aramid fiber woofer, and initial splash of the original Debuts made in the industry means they will forever hold a place in my heart no other speaker can displace.Watch M
In the 300-400$ range, this speaker would be my absolute first recommendation. I would truly go as far as saying that those Elacs could defend themselves even at 500$ or more category so that should tell you somethingWatch T
Could you give me an advice about what to look for when getting the cables for these ones without breaking the bank while doing the justice to the sonic potential of B6.2? Also, what amplifier could you suggest checking out that would pair up well with these speakers? The one being on the budget but without real caveats.Watch S
So, whether you're starting your journey into the hi-fi setup or you're building yourself a serious two channel system, the ELAC B6.2 is definitely king of valueWatch N
I use the Peachtree nova150 Integrated Amplifier into ELAC Debut 2.0 B6.2 Bookshelf Speakers with Bogdan Silver Spirits pure silver speaker cable. Martin Logan Dynamo 300 Subwoofer to fill in the lower bass. They do need 200 hours of music playing through them to sound their best. :) I love these speakers!Watch S
We'll be pairing this up with the Elac B 6.2. These speakers were designed by the legendary Andrew Jones and he is famous in the audio file world for designing speakers that are welldetailed, balanced and neutral. So you can expect a welldetailed sound signature from the Elax along with incredible bass response.Watch H

It is part of the Debut 2.0 series and is known for delivering high-quality sound at an affordable price. The speaker features a 6.5-inch aramid-fiber woofer and a 1-inch cloth dome tweeter , intended for home stereo or home theater systems.Read N
The affordable Elac Debut 2.0 B6.2 offers class-leading sound along with excellent build quality and attractive looks. The front-facing bass port allows them it be placed close to walls.Watch Z
I bought these on sale, and they are worth every penny. Fantastic for my needs. I have to wait for the next door neighbors to go to work to enjoy them. Prefect for both my music and movies. Thanks…. Oh added a subwoofer from Polk.Watch H
Compared with the smaller B5.2, the B6.2 uses a larger cabinet and woofer to deliver a fuller, weightier presentation. It still keeps the Debut line’s balanced, unfussy character, but adds more scale for medium-sized rooms.Read C
My 6.2 is an awesome speaker. After break-in and long listening sessions i find more to like. Its not perfect but when dialed in its hard to best at that price point. Excellent review!Watch S
Very good and humble review, Super-B. I'm considering these ELAC as an option now, so thank you for your insight on this. Greetings from Spain!Watch C
(Ugh!) I have chosen the Cambridge AXR100, a pair of Elac B6.2 speakers, and the Fluance RT-83 turntable.Watch C
Now, we just need a comparison of the B6.2's and Unifi 2.0's, which I am considering upgrading to.Watch T
This makes me lean even more toward 6.2s as it was the cheapest in the group anyway.Watch G
The Debut 2.0 B6.2 have been praised for their high-performance, affordable cost.Read T

Uni-fi is noticeably better sounding, more open, the B6.2 is a bit fuzzy and darker ( both Elac's are darker regarding sound, than Dali's Zensor 1 & 3 for example, but better comparing Dali's ). Also both Elac's benefits hugely from pre/power combo, or high current amp. It's worth it to invest in amps such as mentioned. You get great results, with more full bodied-lush sound.Watch H H T Hobbyist cmkilcullen8176 · owner · Oct 2018
I have them now, brand new. I sm finding them to be a bit bright. How much of a break period is suggested before they round off some? The integration of the low end and the other ranges dont seem to melt well together. More like a salad, like too much separation horizontally. But again, break in .not full to my ears. Some feedback please.Watch S

The build quality and vocals of the elac was amazing.yet it left me wanting. So I ended up going with the Klipsch RP 160M over the elac 2.0 B6.2 . The Klipsch just sounds fuller when louder and better highs. I think this comes down to a matter of taste.Watch E
To me the d320's sound is richer and more focused than the Elacs, but the debuts sound more open, with a larger soundstage and deeper bass. The Wharfedales seem like a good value to me, if you're ok with their warm and not overly lively presentation.Watch A
B6.2 well balanced, but a little 2D imaging. XT a little coloring, little lack mids, but well imaging.Watch
