For context: I’ve owned a Thrustmaster T300 RS GT since 2022. Really great entry-level wheel - no regrets. It made me fall in love with sim racing, and I can’t recommend it enough if you find one used. I’ve been in the market for a few months looking for an upgrade, waiting for a price drop on the Moza R5 / Fanatec bundles.

It's a belt driven wheel that offers nice force feedback and executes it all at a very quite noise level. It's a great wheel for Gran Turismo 7, iRacing and all other sims. It supports PS5, PS4 and PC.

UPDATE: Yes, the T300 works with Gran Turismo 7 and is officially supported in the game's menus. If you plan on using the TH8A shifter, you will need to connect it to the T300 wheel base instead of the PS5 for it to work.

The Thrustmaster T300 RS GT is the best entry level wheel base for drifting. Compared to any Logitech or T150 it is by far better with its stronger force feedback which makes it quicker and easier for the wheel to self-steer which is vital for drifting.

Good : One of If not the best Value wheel on the market when considering quality of FFB Rotational speed and that it works with the Playstation 4 playstation 3 and PC ( Or Xbox one should you buy the TX base) The base also comes with basic pedals and a choice of Rims.

The Moza R3 is cheaper than the T300 at most retailers. It is significantly stronger, more detailed, and built from metal. Even the Logitech Pro and Logitech RS50 outperform the T300 in every measurable way. The T248 also provides stronger feedback than the T300 in some situations, although with much more noise.

But it does grow on you. I mean, all direct drive wheels do look a little bit like this. You will get used to it. And another thing I got used to as well, which I didn't like at first, was the stock wheel. The stock wheel when I first got it, I did actually criticize it for not being that well made. You got these badly molded parts here on on on the plastic, and it's like very plasticky feeling. B
