The Logitech G923 is the updated successor to the G29, offering improved electronics, a better braking feel, and Logitech’s TRUEFORCE haptic system. TRUEFORCE reads in-game physics and audio to deliver higher-frequency vibrations for more detailed road feel. The G923 also includes an LED RPM indicator, a 24-point rotary selector, and dual-clutch launch control (in supported games).

The British-Made Truebrake gives Logitech Pedals a huge upgrade. I've been using the G923 pedals with the newest Truebrake and the transformation is ridiculous. Compatible with the G25, G27, G29, G920 and G923, all Logitech drivers on Console and PC can use it. Check it out!

The true force feedback just feels really, really realistic and has really nice power to it. It really feels like you're driving out there drifting and you're really getting that responsive feedback. The pedals themselves are above average. Both pedal arms and pedal faces are made out of metal. They are a bit small to my liking, but are esthetically pleasing. They measure the values with potentiometers and are non adjustable for position.

So, that's really, really nice. Uh, if you hit something, you can feel that. And of course you can play this with the different racing games from arcade to um more uh formula type racing games like uh F125 or Gran Turismo 7. So I think this is really cool. You have your brake which is very tough to um to push down. Really like a car. And you have all your buttons and layout.

If you apply a legacy G920 setup to the new G923, the TrueForce engine will overdrive, clip, and vibrate your desk to pieces. If you use G920 brake deadzones on a G923, you will lock up and skid out on the first corner.

My impression that the G923's gear noise is louder may suggest that its added TRUEFORCE hardware is audible. If quiet operation is your top priority, the belt-driven T300RS may be the better fit.

This is a pretty solid wheel, and I definitely enjoyed using it. Uh, will this be my main wheel? Uh, probably for Xbox, but not PC. I'm still going to be running my PXNV99 for PC. These are not direct drive wheels, which is a bit of a disappointment, but it is what it is. But anyway, I'm going to leave it there.

If I would have to give a point of criticism on the rim, it would be the quality of the turning 'enter' button. This could have been made more smoother to turn around. I am sure they must have thought at Logitech: Why change a winning formula? This rim absolutely is one of the nicest standard wheels I have seen and felt.

I'd recommend the Logitech G920 over the G923 though. The feedback is more than good enough, but you can feel and tell the difference between the gears knocking around in the Logitech compared to the direct drive feedback on a Moza.
