Pretty well made gaming rig. The steering feels good and stitching looks good. Using it mostly for F1 23 racing and so far so good. Definitely worth the money for a beginner rig. Got a good deal during Black Friday sales. The combo of the pedals work flawlessly with the steering wheel. Using it with PC and got no issues so far. Buttons are customizable with the help of Logitech gaming software.

Overall the Logitech g29 Is a fantastic racing sim wheel much better than the thrustmasters in my opinion. If you do buy the Logitech g29 make sure to play Forza Horizon 4 with it, SERIOUSLY FUN.

And although the world seems like it's ending every single day, something that is absolutely not ending is the production run of the Logitech G29 and the G920, which 11 years later are still some of the most popular wheels in sim racing. Now, I get asked whether they're still worth it every single day.

The G29 is compatible with PS5 and G920 with Xbox, but both are also compatible with PC. Between the two, the G29 is the slightly superior option. The G29 has LED shift lights located on the top of the wheel's spokes. These LEDs light up progressively as the car's RPMs rise in-game. It also has a user-programmable rotary knob on the wheel.

What can I say, this is a sports steering wheel that’s in no way inferior to a real one. It’s a three-spoke model with a flattened bottom. Ergonomically, it’s a typical sports steering wheel. Beyond its purely cosmetic features, it features a small diameter, finger rests, and a blue zero-position marker.

They’re affordable, console-compatible setups that do a great job of introducing you to sim racing. But at some point, you hit a wall. The feedback lacks precision, the on-track sensations start to feel stale, and the urge to switch to Direct Drive begins to tempt you.

A lot of people would ask if the Logitech G29 racing wheel connects to the PlayStation 5, and the answer is absolutely 100% yes. I've done it many times. So, all you have to do is put this on the PS4 mode. So, get the PS3 in the PS4 mode. All you have to do is switch it to the PS4 mode and then once you've connected it all up, connect it via USB. Connect that in. There you go.

In short, the Logitech G29 (Logicool G29 Driving Force) remains a proven, worthwhile choice for a first racing wheel in 2026 . It costs around ¥40,000 for the wheel itself, or around ¥60,000 as a bundle with a six-speed manual shifter.

The quality of the wheel definitely feels a bit nicer with the Logitech G29 over this one. This one sort of feels like that leather feel, which I don't mind about, but this just feels more realistic and I like it more overall. Terms of the pedals, there's a huge difference here. So, with the Thrustmaster, you get this really basic setup.

This is probably the best budget setup you can get. Obviously, there's some better stuff out there, but that's probably going to be more expensive. If you're on a budget, this is the stuff to get. And I don't think you're really going to notice too much of a downgrade as opposed to the really expensive stuff.

So, construction, when it comes to all of all three of these units, the G29's going to come out on top. The T300 will come in next, and then the T150 is last. As far as the actual units, they are plastic for the most part as far as in their construction. Where the G29 comes out on top again would be the pedal set.

Very good deal. I bought it for Forza Horizon 5, which is on my PC, but I also have a PS5, so I got it so I can have kind of uh cross compatibility, right? wasn't too sure if I was going to get really into racing games, but I like Forza Horizon 5, so I decided to get a wheel cuz it was on sale. Buy the wheel. Comes with the default pedals, right? It's a good bundle.

You might regret it if you get genuinely serious about sim racing and start noticing the notchiness after 6 to 12 months. Reality check: I reached 2100 iRating on iRacing using the G29—it absolutely doesn't limit beginners. The upgrade trigger comes when you're consistently racing in the top third of your splits. That's when upgrading makes sense.

Notable downsides are primarily the sounds that this wheel produces. The shifters are clunky but not in a nice way, and the hybrid force-feedback system can feel a bit scratchy compared to some of its rivals, despite it being relatively powerful with 3.5Nm of peak torque.

The Logitech G29 and G923 are two of the best-selling racing wheels of all time, but also two of the most hated sim racing wheels as well. And to be honest, I think that's a little unfair. Sure, the sim racing market has changed a lot since the launch of the G29, and there's a lot of better and alternative wheels that you could choose now.

So if that's you budget for now get the g29. Probably you will want to upgrade soon after, but you can upgrade part by part. Don't forget that the best thing you can do to upgrade, in my opinion, is getting a cockpit/wheel stand.
