It’s terrific. Had a Samsung Q led before this one, I thought that was good but the 9 ii is unreal. The theatre 9 soundbar has way better speakers in it, tried it with the Bravia acoustic sync that makes the tv speakers act as the centre but it’s better turned off, the dynamics of the soundbar are much better for the centre speaker.

However when the TV switched to gaming and movie content the Bravia 8ii looks so much better. The contrast on the OLED blacks are just amazing. If my room has bright lights and lots of reflections, then 100% I’d go with the Bravia 9ii or Samsung S95H. If I had a light controlled room I’d go with the Bravia 8ii (if 65” or smaller) or the LG G6.

Despite its gaming limitations, the 65 Bravia 9 II has enough extra in its tank to justify the additional outlay over the Bravia 7 II. The Sony 9 ll still looks more natural than the TCL XllL.I have to admit though that the TCL looks amazing with really good processing and 3d depth.The Sony is just a bit more natural in its look and processing. I will have to give the TCL the win for the first time.

Sony looks too dark and too green. The white looks a very strange green. Where is Sony's famous white? I realized that it's no longer Sony, it's TCL. It's just expensive. I didn't like the Sony.

Assuming the quality is extremely good (Sony is known for this), it's still not an OLED and it appears mediocre at best for gaming. BUT, super bright, great for movies and shows and sports etc.
