0 LP on the category ladder what's LP?

The most ownership-hostile product in the category: high hardware price plus a required subscription makes it the worst total-cost ownership proposition. A BlackVue DR970X Plus does the connected-cam job better with a saner cost structure.

The biggest advantage of the Nextbase iQ is that it combines theft deterrence, incident recording, and vehicle monitoring into a single device. It won't physically prevent a thief from taking your vehicle, but it can provide valuable evidence, alerts, and recovery assistance if something goes wrong. My favorite dash cam right now is the Nextbase iQ. Sure , it's an expensive option, but the useful driver safety features aren't seen on other models. If you don't want to spend loads of money, I also like the Nextbase Piqo . It's got plenty of features but won't break the bank. There's even a snazzy option that completely replaces your rearview mirror !

On our dash cams board, Nextbase 622GW ranks #20 (D tier) ahead of Nextbase iQ at #23 (F tier). Nextbase 622GW: Still a competent camera and PCMag-tested, but its aging sensor at a flagship price makes it a poor value. Buy the A229 Pro instead.
